Recent news - We are excited to announce the addition of a swimming pool at QuailsEnd! Lounge in the 84 degree pool and view the lake! Please note the pool closes October 1st and will open again, weather permitting, May 1st.

Please continue reading about QuailsEnd….

QuailsEnd is a beautiful and comfortable home built on 3 floors. There are lake and mountain views from nearly every window. The home has an open floor plan kitchen-dining-family room to allow for all your guests to cook and gather in one place. QuailsEnd has lots of room for privacy too.

Main floor (2nd level): Spacious lake view living room flows into an open kitchen design. Two staircases lead from the entry level to the second level. The living room includes vaulted ceilings, accent lighting , gas fireplace, comfortable contemporary furnishings , large flat screen TV, DVD, Radio-CD-player stereo system, Pioneer DVD speaker system for iPod and access to lake view sundeck with chaise lounge chairs. The dining area has a large table with seating for 8-10 with spectacular lake and mountain views, and adjacent access to side patio (lake view, of course) with additional outdoor seating for up to 12. The kitchen has a lake view, is modern and fully equipped and appointed. A breakfast bar has two leather bar stools. The Master Suite is located on the main floor. It has a tranquil lake view from the king size “Select Comfort Mattress” bed and master bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower area, and double sink vanity counter. The main floor also has a guest bath, patio area with patio furnishings and a gas BBQ, utility room with washer and dryer, sink, iron & ironing board.

Entry Level:

Guest bedroom #1 - View - Level access with artistic brick fireplace and accent lighting. Here you will find a queen size bed, flat panel TV, DVD, VCR, and radio-cassette-CD player stereo system. A special feature of this room is the glass slider door providing easy access to the lower patio and driveway area, with no steps. The patio is a lovely place to enjoy an afternoon beverage and watch the activity on the lake overlooking the garden and grape vines.

Guest bedroom #2 - Partial View - This level access guest room has a queen size bed and flat panel TV.

Guest baths: The lower level as two 3/4 baths.

Bunk area: This special private room with windows has an oversized pine log bunk bed. The lower bunk has a full size mattress and the upper bunk has a twin mattress. Adjacent to the bunk room is a small lounge area with VCR, DVD, games, microwave and small refrigerator.

Upper level - View - Guest room #3 - Huge guest room boasts lake views from many windows. The 300 sq. ft. room includes a queen size bed with flat panel TV, lounge area with flat panel TV and DVD, screened area with a twin size bed and view windows, and a cozy private sun porch to enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the quail and great horned owl.

Garage: Inside access to garage with room for two vehicles of moderate size.

Parking: In addition to the garage, the circular drive and portico can accommodate four additional vehicles. The entry lane to the property is narrow. We suggest no 'large' vehicles or trailers of any kind.

About Liza Lange

Sverre and Liza fell in love with this property at first sight. We have owned rental properties for most of our adult lives and this one is hands down our favorite. QuailsEnd has been a member of the Chelan Chamber of Commerce since 2006.

Liza Lange purchased this house in 2005

Why Liza Lange chose Washington

QuailsEnd lends itself to the perfect getaway for family and friends. The main floor living area flows to facilitate large gatherings of people. The kitchen is fully stocked and many guests have commented on how much they have enjoyed the kitchen. The house is large allowing a place to bring people together and space for privacy. Lake views from every room bring a peaceful feeling to the house. And of course there is the lake! The slide from the dock to the lake can't be beat. Floating on an air mattress on the lake on a hot day is wonderful! As if that weren't enough, we have now added a pool heated to 84 degrees with a large view patio for gathering.

What makes this house unique

This area is known for 300+ days of sunshine each year, a growing list of wineries, and world-renowned golf courses. QuailsEnd is the perfect place to stay to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

We loved our stay at Quails End

  • 5 of 5

What a great house! Things we particularly appreciated: the pool with generous seating area and plenty of chairs. This is where we spent our together time. There are lots of plates, bowls, glasses, flatware, etc. so you don't have to worry about having to wash between meals. The house is nice but not really fancy. This lends itself to a relaxed atmosphere where we didn't have to constantly worry about the kids damaging something. Mornings on the front deck were a joy -- again, plenty of lounge chairs. Reading by the lake was serene. Jumping in frequently a must to keep cool. On the down side, the trip to and from the lake was a bit much for a couple members of our family. Luckily they were able to fully enjoy the pool. Another drawback is that there is no bathroom for the third floor suite. During the day it's not an issue but it was tough for nighttime trips to the main floor powder room and meant showering on the lower level or in the master. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. Also, the expense. Let's get real, this is pricey. But our one week a year in Chelan/Manson is always the best week of the year and Quails End did not disappoint. We've already booked for next year.

Awesome Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

The home is spacious, the views are beautiful, the pool was perfect and has a large covered area, great outdoor dining, another deck for viewing the lake. Lot's of space to relax. As mentioned in other reviews, the lake is a hike down on gravel trails, but we actually got our exercise done in the mornings by hiking them several times. And the owners have provided another fridge in the garage, which for a large crowd is essential. Lake Chelan was on our bucket list to visit, and so glad we did.

We loved the location of this house. The views were incredible and impressive.

  • 4 of 5

The bedrooms were all private and comfortable. Plenty of room for our group of 10. The pool and pool area was an added bonus. There is a small fridge at the outdoor pool area. The directions were thorough and specific. (This was probably overkill.) we enjoyed this house very much. Extremely clean too. The expansive views and location were unbeatable.

Best in Manson!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this vacation home over Memorial Day weekend and it was such a memorable experience. The home is HUGE, beautiful and very well maintained. The kitchen, pool and bedrooms were all well stocked and comfortable. The kids had so much fun playing in the pool - which was very nice and warm. Liza is excellent to work with and responds to messages in a timely manner. We are definitely keeping this home at the top of our list when visiting Chelan. Thank you to Liza and her team for doing an excellent job at providing a wonderful vacation home!

A Beautiful Lake Chelan Property

  • 4 of 5

We had a very successful weeklong vacation with family and friends. I thought I'd be reliving my childhood memories by swimming in the lake which was 67° at this time of yr. (Sept) The wonderful pool was a great substitute – warm and relaxing. The Master Suite is as deluxe as you could imagine and the other bedrooms provided nice privacy for everyone. Beds were very comfortable. The elevator was a definite benefit moving in and out with all of our supplies. The kitchen was well furnished and supplied. The end of the road location is nicely private and pretty quiet. The front balcony provides a fabulous view of the Lake and on a clear night the stars and Milky Way are stunning. There is more parking than it appears, but it would have been nice to have space for my boat trailer which had to be left at the Old Mill Marina for $45 for the week.

The mooring buoy worked well and the Lake gave up a 2lb lake trout, 2 cutthroat trout, and 3 Kokanee.

The only reason for not including the 5th star in the rating was the length and steepness of the trail down to the lake which wasn't apparent in the pictures and description of the property.

Finally, Ms. Lang provided very good customer service and was very responsive to all of our enquiries. Thank you for a wonderful summer memory.
