This one bedroom La Jolla Village Condo is perhaps one of the most convenient places around. Transporting your luggage upon arrival will be a breeze as you’ll be able to move from your two designated garage spaces to the unit in a very convenient elevator. Once you are settled in, you’ll probably want to get something to eat. Choose from two large grocery stores just a stone’s throw away and fix yourself a feast or head out to one of the many delicious restaurants right nearby—there’s sushi, Thai, Italian, Moroccan, you name it. Afterwards, walk to the comedy club or one of the nearby bars or lounges and finish off the evening with a relaxing
drink. You never have to worry about GPS or wasting time driving around. A short walk brings you to the beach, shopping and the La Jolla community park featuring nine tennis courts.
Even though you’re in the heart of the village this unit is quiet. Included within the condo you’ll find Wi-Fi, phone, cable television, and a large 55in flat screen in the living room plus a 42in flat screen in the bedroom. Access to laundry is located on the same floor. In the morning you will be able to enjoy your coffee or tea on the sunny outdoor patio, before taking a hot shower in the wonderfully lit bathroom with natural light pouring in from the perfectly placed skylight. After a review stating that the condo was drab, we put our design team on the task to make it new. A king bed replaced the queen bed, 2 new night stands and dresser were added to make unpacking easier. Pictures and mirrors were added along with 2 new large TV's. The condo is now handsome with a touch of beach and cozy.
The building has a beautiful atrium with a flowing fountain, always providing a warm welcome upon your return from business or pleasure. With its central location, essential features, elevator and garage space for two, the La Jolla Village condo is sure to meet the needs of a vacationing couple or businessman or woman on the go.
My husband and I very much enjoyed our vacation stay in the La Jolla condo. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. The digs were clean, private, and secure. The condo was centrally located near all things wonderful in La Jolla- beach cove, shopping, restaurants, spas, a comedy club, lux movie theatre- and the perfect landing spot to venture out to enjoy local hiking, biking, and ocean kayaking. We'll look to book again in the near future!
We had an awesome stay in the cute condo/apartment. Everything was walking distance - to the beaches, shops, restaurants and to the La Jolla Cave. The condo was clean and comfortable. We walked around town at 10:00pm and we felt safe. The best part is the condo has a parking garage structure and we did not have to look for parking. The only suggestion I would recommend is better instructions for the renter when its their last day - what to do with the linens and towels. and we felt uncomfortable leaving the trash and empty water bottles behind. We did not know where the trash cans were in the complex. Overall, we would return to the condo/apartment and recommend my friends and family to stay here. The owners were pleasant and they were available to answer questions.
We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Close to so many great restaurants . It was great to be able to walk to dinner and down to the beach. Loved the convenience. Very well kept property
We arrived on a Friday early evening to be met by Lindsey. She showed us where to park and around the apartment. She was so helpful in many ways during our stay. Thank you Lindsey!
The unit was a bit smaller than we expected but in the end was perfect. The wifi worked great as well as the TV. and every thing we needed for our 4 day stay was there. We really enjoyed the balcony and had wine with snacks evenings and breakfast most mornings on it. Very nice. The only other heads up is there is parking in the underground parking but it is a bit tight. If you have a larger car/SUV just be prepared. My husband did a great job getting in and out of the space and garage. So all was great.
Great location for walking to great cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and Vons.
We would love to return and will make plans for it.
My husband and I stayed at the condo mid-February and had the most incredible, relaxing vacation. The condo was the perfect size for us especially because we spent most of our time exploring La Jolla which was literally in our backyard. (Location was great) The condo is well kept and has the kitchen essentials if you want to cook or enjoy a bottle of wine on the deck. The grocery store right across the parking lot was so convenient and the underground parking garage with two spots was a huge perk since parking is very limited in La Jolla. To get to the ocean down the street it is only about a 10 minute walk through the cute streets of La Jolla. The kitchen/family room is open and they had a large TV above the kitchen table for morning news.
June met us to give us the keys and show us our parking spot and condo which was set up perfectly for when we arrived. Another thing we liked is that the condo building is secure and you need a key fab to gain access. Not that we ever felt unsafe but when traveling to a new place it's a comfort for us.
Overall, the condo was great and we would stay there again.
The property is small and rather dark. The only way it could be 800 square feet is if the balcony is included.
We had a problem with heat, but June of the managing firm got permission to install a much needed air conditioner. There was also work on the balcony for which we received a partial refund.
If we do return to La Jolla, we will try to find a more comfortable place to stay.
Located in the center of town this condo is close to the heart beat of the village while still being a quiet location. A balcony where you can see the ocean looks out over Pearl Street. Just a block from the farmers market on Sunday and a quick walk to the ocean makes this one a great place to call home.
