7 Springcourt is a luxury one bedroom ground floor apartment set in a quiet neighbourhood but close to Accra beach. The apartment is ideally suited for a couple. The fully equipped kitchen has granite worktops with Bosch appliances (electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave and fridge/ freezer) The air-conditioned bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside cabinets, a large wardrobe, ceiling fan and black-out curtains. The comfortable air-conditioned living room has a large sofa, comfortable lounge chair, coffee table, TV (Apple TV box), DVD player, CD player / i-Pod docking station and ceiling fan. The dining area seats four and there are patio chairs, table and sunbeds for relaxing / dining outside. WiFi access is available in the apartment. The property features a waterfall-fed communal pool and well kept tropical gardens. The delightful setting is at the end of Rockley New Road, a highly regarded peaceful residential cul-de-sac overlooking Rockley golf course.

A lovely apartment in a quiet and beautiful location

7 spring court has all the amenities you need including excellent AC and WiFi to keep in touch with home. The pool is a delight and ideal if you just want a quiet day watching the monkeys and cockerels. We didn’t bother with a car and found the 20 minute walk to the beach ok in the day though advise taking a 20 dollar taxi ride at night . Thanks to Brian who was most helpful in answering questions and sorting the few little glitches.

Good for our needs

When we first arrived we really were not sure about the location but it was fine. We felt we needed a car which was organised through Brian (he looks after the apartment). The apartment is well equipped but could do with a little TLC and made a little more 'homely'. The pool is right outside the patio doors (as you look at the picture the apartment is the one facing on the left). Sun loungers in the apartment were welcome and useful. Daily visit by the monkeys is amusing and the night song really made it feel like the Caribbean. Shakers restaurant is a 15 min walk away and is well worth a visit or 2. A very quiet location in a residential area. Approx 25 minute stroll to shops, restaurants etc.

Peaceful apartment with terrace by the pool

We spent a peaceful two weeks at 7 Springcourt and would happily return. Brian was very helpful and the apartment was spotless, comfortable and exactly as described. We nearly always had the beautiful pool to ourselves (with occasional entertaining visits from the green monkeys). We enjoy walking and made our way on foot to Accra beach, the Garrison historic area and Bridgetown several times. We highly recommend the Coffee Barbados Cafe next to George Washington House for great coffee and cake as well as delicious lunches. We also enjoyed taking a local bus to Oistins on Friday night. The second week we rented a car and explored the island: St. Nicholas Abbey, Flower Forest (which serves delicious simple lunches), Earthworks, Andromeda Gardens and Animal Flower Caves (a great lunch destination) are not to be missed. We were touched by the Bajan friendliness and look forward to returning.

Great Barbados Getaway.

The apartment had everything we needed. Met some of the fascinating friendly neighbours who were most welcoming. The management were terrific people and ready to provide info on best grocery stores and interesting restaurants and other special places on this beautiful island.

Wonderful time in Barbados

We had a wonderful 18 day stay at 7 Springcourt. It is in a small, well maintained complex and in a very quiet location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We spent many hours relaxing on the patio, where there was always shade and a beautiful breeze. The pool was very enjoyable and only a few steps from our patio. The apartment was cleaned weekly, as well as the linens and towels changed. The wireless internet worked perfectly. John, the owner, was very accommodating and readily available to help in any way, as was also the local manager, Brian.

We didn't do much sight seeing, as this was the fifth time we had vacationed in Barbados, and had already been to most places of interest. We did; however, take the three hour Historic Garrison tour, which runs on Thursday mornings. It was very interesting and informative. Our guide, Peter, was excellent and very knowledgeable. It was well worth the cost of the tour.

We enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk and visits to the Hastings market. We had some great meals at restaurants we liked from previous years - Bert's and Cutters (on the east coast near The Crane), as well as some restaurants that were new to us - Shakers, Tapas, Just Grillin' and Champers.

We had several up-close sightings of the monkeys during our stay. One day several walked on the driveway and along the fence right by our patio - with us sitting there! Another day, there were more than twenty of them (we lost count) that came over from the neighbour's property onto the wall beside the pool. Some stayed for a while, sitting, grooming, etc. then jumped down to the pool deck, ran across it, then off into the undergrowth and nearby trees. It was very exciting to see. We were able to get some good videos - so keep your camera handy!

The website says that a car is recommended and we would agree with that. We did not have one, so took taxis where we needed to go - or at least down to the main road where we could then get one of the $2 buses that will take you pretty much anywhere. The taxis worked out fine for us and we found a driver who was very reliable and who we called regularly. The grocery store, Massy, has a free shuttle which will bring you back to the apartment, so that was very much appreciated.

In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 7 Springcourt. It was a quiet, relaxing spot from which to enjoy Barbados. We had a wonderful time!

Great apartment in peaceful location

The apartment is on a quiet complex in a peaceful location but only 20 minutes stroll to popular Accra Beach - ideal location to combine peace and quiet with busier beach visits. There are other beaches and the boardwalk within walking distance too.

Several other apartments were occupied while we were there but we still had the pool to ourselves.

We chose not to hire a car and didn't miss it - there are ample buses and taxis if you don't want to walk.

The apartment is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything was as advertised.

John was very easy to deal with answering any queries immediately. The local contact, Brian, was helpful and informative.

All-in-all, we had a fabulous time and would love to return.

7 Springcourt is situated at the end of Rockley New Road, a quiet tree lined residential cul-de-sac which is adjacent to Rockley Golf and Country Club. The nearest beach is Accra which is a 5 minute drive away and St Lawrence Gap is a 10 minute drive away. There are many restaurants within easy reach to suit all tastes and budgets. A car is recommended but not essential as there are plenty of taxis and buses available nearby.
