Why Patrick Pecorilli chose Old Montreal & Quays of the Old Port

I chose to buy this complex, because I have always loved what the Old Port has to offer. My kids will soon be heading off the University downtown and the plan is to have them and my wife and me each occupy one of the condos while renting out the other ones.

What makes this apartment unique

Location location location

  • 4 of 5

The location was amazing within walking distance to many worthwhile attractions such as Bota Bota, Notre Dame and close to many restaurants and shops. The upstairs was lovely but we found the basement a bit dark and the one bedroom with no windows claustrophobic. The bathroom lighting was very dim so for women who want to do make up it made it a bit difficult. We also had to ask for more toilet paper twice!!The owner was great in responding right away to questions and provided us a place to store our luggage after check out. Overall a great stay!!

Owner's Response: Thank you Tracy for the feedback and we are happy you enjoyed your stay. On the toilet paper issue, we leave 8 large (Costco) rolls for a stay of your length. Usually 4 to 6 remain after our guests leave. You went through 14 rolls. Leaving a comment on the toilet paper is a bit harsh!!!

Great location, comfortable place, great host

  • 4 of 5

We (family of four) came for a long weekend in Feb and really enjoyed Montreal! Patrick's place is in a great location in Old Montreal and we walked everywhere, including restaurants, museums, Notre Dame and the waterfront. The apartment is comfortable and has plenty of room. Patrick was one of the best hosts I've rented from, very responsive, flexible and checking in. There were a few minor quirks that kept me from rating 5 stars - the master upstairs is somewhat open to the rest of the floor and therefore not totally private, it was hard to figure out the thermostats (maybe include in the home manual?) and there were lights out in one of the bathrooms. Overall, it was a very good stay and we would definitely recommend staying here!

We spent 3 days in Montreal and used Patrick’s apartment as our base. The location was perfect. It’s within Old Montreal, close to the metro, underground city, and near some great restaurants. We had a great time!

Lots of room. Suite was clean and comfortable. Easy access on a quiet street, yet very central to many very good restaurants and historical sites.

Would love to come back!

  • 5 of 5

Patrick’s place in Old Montreal was perfect for our first visit to Montreal with our two adult children. We enjoyed a long weekend in November that started with mid-20 degree weather and included two light snow falls. We bundled up and walked and walked enjoying the friendly people, delicious restaurants, pubs, and history. The proximity of the apartment to the Notre Dame basilica allowed us to see it in daylight and beautifully lit at night. During one of our walks we found our way to the top of Mt Royal with a beautiful view of the city. The apartment is very comfortable and sparkly clean. While we enjoyed a lot of Montreal’s restaurants, we also enjoyed the kitchen for breakfast and a meal we prepared after shopping at the Atwater market. My daughter loves to bake and made a cheesecake that day. Patrick bought extra baking supplies when we mentioned we needed a mixer (extra thanks, Patrick!). When we weren’t walking, we used the metro and easy to find taxis. We would love to come back!
