SLEEPING: Sleeps up to 8. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, the loft has a bunk bed and 2 twin beds.
LIVING AREA: This unit has mountain views from the livingroom and 1500 sq. ft. of living space. The living room has a sofa, love seat, and recliner. The dining room has a large table with seating for 8 people.
ENTERTAINMENT: In the living room, there is a 40in flat panel LCD TV, blu-ray player, surround sound, and free streaming movies. In the loft, we also have a 32in flat panel LCD TV, Xbox 360, Xbox games for all ages, streaming movies, and comfortable chairs. There are TVs and DVD/VCR players in the other bedrooms, as well as both wireless & wired internet connection. This unit has movies, puzzles, and games for all ages.
LAYOUT: This is a three-level townhouse with the entrance on the first floor. The first floor has both bedrooms (1 king & 1 queen) and one full bath, the second floor has the living room, kitchen, dining room and 2nd full bath, and the third floor is the loft (with a bunk bed and 2 single beds), which is open in to the living room by a half wall.
KITCHEN: The unit has a well-equipped kitchen with a nice layout. We love to cook and keep everything you need for making great meals. There is a brand new convection range, large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer, and coffee maker. We also keep a cabinet stocked with the basic supplies for cooking including flour, sugar, salt, pepper, baking powder, baking soda, and lots of spices.
DECK: There is a nice deck off the livingroom with a gas BBQ (available in spring, summer, and fall) and a teak table and 4 chairs. It is a great place to hang out in the summer.
PARKING: There is plenty of on site parking right outside the unit.
SWIMMING: The complex has a hot tub, swimming pool, and a sauna.
LAUNDRY: There is a small stacking washer/dryer in the unit as well as a full laundry room in the condo complex.
PETS: We allow dogs (sorry, no cats due to allergies) for a small additional fee of $50. Please let us know in advance if you want to bring your dog.
CLEANING: The townhouse is professionally cleaned after every stay. We have the cleaning company do a deep cleaning every fall where the place is cleaned from top to bottom, all of the furniture is moved and vacuumed underneath, the hard to reach places are dusted, the windowed are washed, the dishes in the cabinets are moved and cleaned, and all of the comforters and blankets are taken to the dry cleaners. We also get the carpets steam cleaned every fall and spring.
SAFETY: There are four smoke detectors in the condo, including one in each sleeping area, and the batteries are replaced every year. There is a CO2 detector in the living area and a fire extinguisher mounted on the wall of the kitchen. You can exit the condo from the front door, the 2nd floor deck, or using the metal escape ladder in the loft.
LEGAL: This is a completely legal rental unit. It is within the areas of Mammoth Lakes that permits short term rentals. We use only licensed contractors for all repair work. And we collect and pay all required taxes, which supports the services in Mammoth Lakes.

About Craig Knoblock
My family, which includes my wife and two kids (pictured above), all love to ski and board. We live in Los Angeles and come up to Mammoth whenever we can. We have grown quite fond of Mammoth in the summer as well when we discovered how great it is up there in the summer.

We chose this property because it is in a gorgeous complex with lots of mature trees, the unit has a great layout with lots of space, and the complex is in a great location near the center of town and right on the shuttle route.

We love to cook and our place is fully equipped for those people that like to cook. We keep a cabinet available for use by renters with all of the basics, including flour, sugar, oil, and spices.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The Woodlands is a great complex in a solid location. There is plenty of parking and the condo itself worked perfectly for our group. We would definitely stay here again.
4.5 Star Unit
Great ownership that was very responsive. There was ample parking in the complex (I stayed during spring break). The unit itself was well stocked and pretty comfortable. It has a gaming system for the kids in the loft which was a plus. Kitchen has a programmable coffee maker, which I love. However, it could benefit from some larger pots/bowls and the counter has a large burn mark on it from someone that was careless with a hot pan. The water in the hot tub at common area was an unappealing green color.
I have stayed at many condos in Mammoth and, overall, this one rates above average.
Great to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for the feedback! Since we love to cook, we try to keep the kitchen very well equipped. I will add a large 12 quart pot to the kitchen and another large bowl. The burn mark on the counter left by a renter is annoying, but does not affect the use of the kitchen. At some point we will remodel the kitchen and we are working on redoing the bathrooms first. I checked with the HOA property manger and the green color in the hot tub is due to a chemical that the maintenance person adds regularly as recommended by the jacuzzi manufacturer.
Great Condo With Plenty of Space
I stayed at the condo in March 2018 and had a great experience that began before I even got there! The owner, Craig, was really responsive to any questions I had. He always got back to me in less than an hour.
The condo itself was great as well. Everything was clean and in order when we got there. There are two decent sized bedrooms with a king/queen downstairs and a loft upstairs with four more beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything is slightly dated, but well maintained. The family room was stocked up with tons of movies to watch at night.
Another thing we enjoyed was the fact that the red line shuttle picks up right down the street so it is easy to get to the mountain. Plus, there is plenty of parking. We had three seperate cars with our group and we all got a spot directly in front of the condo. I would highly recommend staying here!
We had a great time at this property. We went with family and friends, perfect accommodations for two families with children. Very close to EVERYTHING! The mountain, grocery shopping, restaurants and the Village. Our only complaint was the fridge. It didn't keep our food/drinks very cold, but the freezer worked well. We ended up putting some items outside to keep. Other than that it was wonderful, thank you for allowing us to make memories that will last forever!
Great to hear you enjoyed your stay! My apologies for the problem with the fridge. I got the appliance repair person in there after your stay and he found that the evaporator fan was broken and replaced it. The fridge works fine now.

Clean, well-stocked, good location. Kids really enjoyed the air hockey. Dining table was big enough for all of us to sit around - this is rare. Beds are comfy, and everything was clean. Also, there are lots of movies to choose from and videos too. Great place for the whole family!

Rental fee is fully refundable up to 60 days before the rental (minus a 3% credit card fee if you pay with a credit card). We will provide refunds within 60 days if we are able to re-rent the property for the same dates. Note that if you use echeck for payment instead of a credit card, you will not have to pay any fees in case of the need to cancel.
