Why John or Pamela Sackmann chose Front Range Colorado

We fell in love with this area of Colorado while visiting in the summer of 2008, and after a few years of searching, found this home. There is so much to do here, that even though we visit as often as possible, there is still much to explore!

What makes this house unique

The views from the home are just beautiful. Even though there are so many activities to choose from, we also love just relaxing at the house and enjoying the mountains.

Amazing scenic mountain getaway near hiking and charming old west town

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay completely. Everything was incredibly well organized, clean and modern and the views are unbelievable. Hot tub and campfire overlooking the Rockies are sure to reinvigorate and the variety of nearby outdoor activities are seemingly endless. Shops and restaurants in nearby Nederland are charming and the people are very welcoming.

Great for couples or family and the amenities would make a longer stay very comfortable.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

This location is cozy, clean, and has a BEAUTIFUL view! I personally loved being out further away from bigger towns (great for a honeymoon). I would recommend this area for anyone! We might even visit again!

Incredible mountain views from this remote cottage

  • 4 of 5

This property offers an experience of peace and relaxation in a beautiful setting. The living space is wonderful and the fireplace is a nice touch. The kitchen is fully equipped and the grill is a bonus. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Close to Black Hawk, Boulder and several small mountain towns.

The bedrooms are tight so don't plan on spending much time there. There is only one way out of the king and queen beds which requires climbing over the other person.

Overall a great value compared to the hotels in the area.

Phenomenal mountain property

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking to get away from the everyday hustle of the city, this is your place. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day day hiking. The views of the mountains as we ate dinner were superb. I could spend all evening writing everything that's right about this rental. Rest assured, everything was thought of, down to the wood for the fireplace/fire pit. The Sackman's are awesome to deal with. We didn't have a single issue, but I'm confident that they would have taken care of it immediately if we had.

If you're looking for a perfect little getaway at a price less than a hotel, you've found it.

Breathtaking Views Through a Flatlander's Eyes

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with the property as soon as we saw it. Everything in the owners' description was accurate. Set above the nearby tree line, the house afforded us a fantastic view of the Continental Divide. A spacious house with all the amenities awaited our unpacking. Hummingbirds, deer, and friendly dogs visited on numerous occasions. Walking the steep roads with my dog was a special treat. Several times, rain in the distance created stunning photos. I would definitely recommend this property for those who like the out-of-doors and peace and quiet. It isn't anything like Boulder. Check out the carousel in Nederland and the casinos in Blackhawk. Relax in the hot tub, but remember you are closer to the sun, and it burns without warning!!! NO TV only a DVD player; that was wonderful. I cannot wait to return.

Stunning Views, Peaceful

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I loved this property. We had never vacationed in Colorado and wanted a more rustic experience as opposed to staying in a chain hotel. This property has all the conveniences you would need and is definitely off the beaten path if that's what you are looking for. We especially loved the hot tub! The neighbors dogs gave us a good scare a couple of times. They seem to just run around at will. We were also very glad that we had a 4WD truck to drive up in. The drive is steep and there are some pretty good ruts in the road. Overall, the property was just what we were looking for and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
