Sand point is home for us. We love the area and want to share it with others. This is an amazingly beautiful city no matter if it's in the summer and your boating the lake or in the winter and your up for some great snowboarding. This property is close to the epicenter of Sand points downtown area.
This newly remodled condo is on the main floor in the front of the development. Its clean and comfortable with cozy log cabin touches. Its close to the pool and has plenty of parking for your recrational vehiles and toys.
This is a great place! The weather was perfect and our four legged family member loved the baby duck encounter. We were very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The location could not have been better, close to everything. We would highly recommend this condo.
We recently stayed at this condo in July/14. When arriving there were 2 fans going, one in the living room and a very small one in the kitchen...NO AIR CONDITIONING!! The temperature for our stay was 35 degrees Celsius, very hot and quite average for that time of the year. All the other condos seemed to have a/c. This prevented us from cooking at all as any extra heat was unbearable. The unit was clean and well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Our girls slept on a very uncomfortable sofa bed with the springs coming through. The facilities availble at this condo are good and most appreciated was the pool. I would not recommend this condo for a summer stay at all.
My husband and I stayed in the condo for five nights. The condo was exceptionally clean and well-furnished and the kitchen was better equipped than we expected (i.e. so nice not to have to buy sugar, coffee, etc.). Walking out the patio door to the pool or walking less than 10 minutes to the beautiful public beach made this condo the perfect location for a summer holiday. And the downtown is an easy walk as well. The only unfortunate disadvantage to the location of this particular unit is its very close proximity to the gas station car wash which begins operating before 7am and is quite loud when the windows are open.
We spent 4 nights in this condo. My wife and 2 younger kids. It was a great fit for us. First of all the communication with the owner was easy and very friendly. The condo was nicely updated, fresh and clean. The kitchen and living area was larger than it looks in the photos. The kitchen had everything we need and then some. Best equipped kitchen we've seen in a rental. The living area had a nice flat screen tv, nice couches and chairs with a great view of the grassy areas and the pool. There are two pools and the one right outside the condo was the one we used, it was large, clean and had plenty of chairs, never felt crowded. You can also doc your boat there during the day. The channel to the marina goes right past the property to the open lake, but it was never busy so most of the marina boats must use another outlet. Even on July 4th week it was quiet in the evenings, but there was plenty of activity with other family's having a good time. The entire property is very nice, clean, well maintained. It's an older property for sure, but it's obvious that the owners and management take pride and spend the money and time it takes to keep an older place looking fresh. This unit's location is downstairs in the first building as you enter the property which is really convenient, so easy to come and go. It's an easy walk to the downtown area of Sandpoint. I'd recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great value, pool, nice kitchen, excellent location. Probably best for 2 adults with up to 2 kids.
Stayed here while doing a workshop in town, and it was just perfect for my needs.
Close, clean, convenient, well-maintained (I have never seen such a well-stocked kitchen!) and comfortable. A quick stop at nearby Winter Ridge Natural Grocers, and I had everything I needed for my stay. My colleagues staying at the La Quinta in town were paying more for a lot less!
Plus, Kym and Stephanie were super responsive via email and very helpful during the rental process.
My wife and I stayed over a rainy spring weekend. Could not have been a better stay. The condo was large, clean and well equiped with everything you need. Loved the decor, especially the moose rack! Comfy bed, bright and spacious living area and just a short walk to everything downtown. Just bring some food and drinks because that is all you will need. I'd go back anytime. Thanks to Kym and Stephanie for making it all so easy.
Condo Del Sol is located in the middle of everything wonderful Sand point has to offer. It is very close to exceptional shopping, art galleries, restaurants and bars. It's located next to the the marina for water recreation and is close to the highway that leads to the theme park and water-park Silver wood. Sand point is only 13 miles from world class snow skiing and snowboarding. Sand point is a mecca for snowmobiles, hunters, fisherman and golfers. There's something for everyone.So much adventure you can't see it all in one trip.
