The location is within minutes walk of great tourist attractions such as Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St. Katherines Dock, St. Pauls, Tate Modern, The Globe Theatre but also if on business Lloyds of London and of course the square mile and it has access to the Underground 200 metres away. The DLR 150m away can take you to Canary Wharf or ExCel centre in minutes for conventions and events. We also have the River Bus by the Tower of London, which can take you up and down the river whether on tourism or work.

We have a very well stocked mini Tesco Express store just around the corner from the main entrance of Marlyn Lodge for any provisions you may require whilst in residence. We also have many restaurants / cafes / bars / pubs and general stores in our immediate area. A Starbucks is located 50 yards away for your morning coffee.

The property is in possibly one of the best locations for tourism and work. There is so much history in the area and also amazing restaurants and bars being in the City of London.
We are a serviced apartment so we have staff on the premises from 8am to 4pm weekdays. So anything not quite right we can remedy straight away for you.
It is also of a very good size compared to other apartments in the City and your key is waiting for you on arrival at the property not at another location as is sometimes the case with other apartment lets.
Not many apartments allow you to walk out of your building and walk 3 minutes to see the Tower of London which is over 900 years old.

location, location, location!!!! Everything is at walk distance. You can buy groceries (3 min walk @ Tesco Express), Starbucks & Pret A Manger @ 4 min away), Train Station (Tower Hill @ 5-7 min walk), London Bridge, jack The Ripper Museums & London Tower at 7-8 min walk. Apartment is comfortable & secure (Front Gate, Access key Path & Cameras). We spent 8 days in London and will definitely recommend this place. See you next year!

The flat was fine. Great location but very hot and stuffy all the time. Windows open and two ceiling fans made little difference. I wouldn't recommend it in summer. Having the windows open made it very noisy as well. Opt for an air conditioned flat or hotel at that price.
We very much enjoyed our stay in a studio apartment in Marlyn Lodge. It was very spacious with plenty of room for a double bed, bed settee, table and chairs and TV. The apartment had free Wi-Fi which was very reliable. It was in a great location, walking distance to Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St. Katherine's Dock to name a few and there was two tube stations (Tower Hill & Aldgate) only a few minutes walk. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything you would need to cook. There are two supermarkets within a short walk with a good selection of provisions. There was plenty of places to eat too. I would recommend Marlyn Lodge as a good place to stay for a reasonable price in a great location.
We really enjoyed our staying at Marlyn Lodge. The apartment is nice and clean, the kitchen is very well equipped. Two underground lines are a 5 minutes walk, and you have starbuks and tesco store really close to the house.

Marlyn Lodge is in a safe and convenient neighborhood. Check in process was smooth, just as described in email instructions, certainly no issues accessing the apartment. Lots of amenities close by, a couple of grocery stores around the corner within a block's walk, tube station within a couple minutes walk. Apartment was in an older building, but the 1 bedroom apartment was nice; it had everything you needed, fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, television and a washer/dryer. Only complaint was that it was a little dirty; bedroom walls and nightstands had stains (??), kitchen cupboards and tiles and bathroom floor needed a good clean, there was oatmeal (I'm hoping it was oatmeal) on the floor by the bathtub, under the sink. As mentioned, there is a grocery store (Tesco) around the corner and I bought a few cleaning items and spent a couple of hours wiping down all the furniture, counter tops and cupboards removing all visible stains. We left the apartment cleaner than when we arrived. Housekeeping comes in ONLY to remove garbage and change towels...unless you ask and pay for the housekeeping option, which we didn't. We were relieved to find out that apartment 107 is not on the 1st floor, but on the second floor (I'm guessing by European standards that the first floor is 1 floor above ground level), it provided a view of the small parking lot. Even though the apartment is situated in the downtown core, it was nice and quiet in the evenings when all the workers retreats home for the night...it can get noisy on the weekends from the party goers. Fairly quiet building, don't hear any of the neighbors. The neighbors that you did run into seemed friendly. Wifi was really slow, but it worked. Couldn't figure out how to use the apartment payphone, but we knew that it worked...got a few calls from Telemarketers. We only stayed at Marlyn Lodge for a week, but should've stayed longer. We continued our travels for a few more weeks over different parts of London and stayed at several other locations...none that can be compared to Marlyn Lodge! Overall, if we were to come back to London, we would definitely stay at Marlyn Lodge again.
The location is great for visiting the historic & iconic sights within the City of London inc.

The nearest underground station is Tower Hill on the Circle and District lines and is a few minutes walk from the apartments.
