About Cindy Pierce 228-769-6939

We have lived on the gulf coast all our lives, but the mountains call us back constantly. We have been visiting this area for over 25 years and decided that this is where we wanted to purchase a second home. We hope that it will give you as much rest and relaxation as well as family memories as it has given us.

Cindy Pierce 228-769-6939 purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Cindy Pierce 228-769-6939 chose Maggie Valley/Waynesville Area

We decided to purchase Angel Puppy to fullfill one of our life long dreams and to introduce the 'mountain experience' to others!

What makes this cabin unique

The front screened porch offers many opportunities to watch the sun rise and set. Watch for the turkeys that cross the road and keep your eye open for bear!!! And when the season is right, watch the night sky light up with lightning bugs!

This is the place to go and relax.

  • 5 of 5

This place was beautiful inside and out. The cabin was well furnished and more than my wife and I could have imagined. So peaceful in the mornings, we sat on the front porch drinking our coffee listening to the birds singing. Cool breeze blowing through the windows at night made for perfect sleeping. This is a beautiful cabin sitting on a beautiful mountain, and anyone needing to get away and relax, this is the place. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Lovely Cabin Property!

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely cabin property in the mountains between Waynesville and Maggie Valley, North Carolina. This was our first cabin rental, so we really weren't certain exactly what to expect. The cabin exceeded any expectations though. The location is incredible, the cabin itself was clean and super-well equipped. I would have to say that ANYTHING we needed or wanted was already there for us. Food is really the only thing you need to go get.

The gas fire-place was ultra-simple to use with a remote control, but broke after a couple hours of use. The owners were super responsive and had someone out to look at it the very next day. Unfortunately, her couldn't fix it and the gas company had not gotten there before we checked out. There is another heater on both floors, so it wasn't a big deal. We made a fire in the fire pit outside instead. They even provided the wood for the fire!

Skylights provide a lot of light upstairs, but I found the 1st floor to be a little dark. There is a lamp next to the couch that is bright and great for reading though.

The driveway is a bit scary if you are not all that comfortable driving on mountain roads and bothered my wife more than they did me. It is steep, but any car would do just fine except maybe in the winter snow.

There were trails all over the mountain. I think my dog and I hiked all of them! The beauty of the nature there is just breath-taking! Of everything that you could do while in the area, sitting on the front porch reading or just looking at the nature was my favorite.

In short, wonderful location, wonderful owner and a place I would like to return to again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the lovely review. The gas stove was a minor fix - wish it could have been completed during your stay! I think the drive way does scare you at first but then you learn to navigate in and out. Don't you love the trails around the area! Our dog loves to roam around with my husband while we are there! I hope you will come visit again!

Wonderful experience - perfect

  • 5 of 5

Angle Puppy Cabin is a fabulous get-away that is secluded enough to be relaxing yet near-enough to everything so you don't lack for things to do. It's pretty much everything you need it to be. BTW, check out the stars on the mountain across the way at night - reminded me of glittering diamonds that had fallen from the sky. Fabulous!

Amazing View!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Angel Puppy Cabin April 20-23, 2017. This was our second time visiting the area and the first time renting a cabin. This cabin is absolutely perfect! The screened porch with stunning views was our favorite part. It truly feels like a home away from home. It is convenient to everything since it is right off the main road that runs through Maggie Valley. We will definitely be booking this cabin again.

Nice Cabin, Good Location

  • 4 of 5

Two friends and I just spent three nights in the Angel Puppy Cabin during our Smoky Mountain getaway. The cabin is convenient to both Maggie Valley and Waynesville and is just a short drive to Asheville in one direction or Cherokee and the National Park in the other.

The driveway was a little daunting at first. The road up to the cabin is steep and has a few switchbacks before you get there but it is paved most of the way and we were able to get up there with a compact car even on a snowy afternnon.

The cabin is well appointed and nicely decorated. The screened porch across the front is great for morning coffee. The electric fireplace was welcome since it snowed while we were there. It was perfect for our girls getaway.
