Oceanfront Location On Front Street In Lahaina, Maui, HI
Lahaina Oceanfront Treasure is just that! From the outside this looks like an old historic house. We are in the National Historic boundary of Lahaina so we desire to preserve some of the history and culture. Once you open the gate the 'treasure' is astounding! The house and Ohana (guest house) has been completely refurbished. Inside you see that you have the only private beach lagoon in West Maui.
Located on Front Street in Lahaina, you are just steps away from all of the best art galleries, restaurants and shops. The Banyan Tree park and The Lahaina Boat Harbor just a quarter mile away. Ka'anapali and Kapalua Beach resorts are a short drive to the north.
Lahaina was the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii during the 1800s. In the 1900s Lahaina became the center of the global whaling industry with many sailing ships located anchored in its waterfront. Today, Front Street has been ranked one of the 'Top Ten Greatest Streets' by the American Planning Association.
Lahaina Oceanfront Treasure's main house has three Bedrooms, 1 full and 2 half baths, and an office. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is right on the water! You will LOVE to cook here! This home has the amenities of flat screen T.V.s in the living room and each bedroom, high speed wireless internet, business center, stereo, DVD & VCR players. The Ohana has its own kitchen, bathroom and outdoor lanai. There is a flat screen TV, DVD and CD players. Outside there is a wrap around stone wall with an outdoor shower.
There is a wonderful patio, equipped with a gas BBQ for your relaxation. There is a large, beautiful hot tub. You will be amazed at the gorgeous sunsets!!!! Be sure to stay after the sun has set because then the sun rays reflect underneath the clouds to bring you an absolutely fabulous, colorful romantic experience.
During the whale season you will see whales playing just a few hundred yards off shore! And yes, you will see rainbows!
The home comes withstand up paddle boards, surfboards and kayaks which you can launch right from the house. We also have bicycles and fishing gear. Protected by the reef, the water here is quite shallow and safe. Baby Beach (so called because mothers take their children to this safest of all beaches) is only about a hundred yards away so you can just wade or walk there!!!

About Eddene McNamara
Aloha we are a fun couple that loves the life we have here in Maui. Every day we are blessed by beautiful sunrises, gorgeous flowers and warm friendly people. We are a blended family, Paul has three adult sons, Eddene has three adult daughters and a granddaughter. We live in a very small home in Lahaina. When the kids come to visit it gets pretty crowded so back in 2007 we decided to buy the house next door so that the family could be close by but have enough space. The house was built in 1937 and needed a lot of TLC. It has been a labor of love. Since the house is often without family present it only made since to start offering it for other families to enjoy for their vacations. We find so much pleasure in meeting people from all over the world and sharing the aloha of Maui. Come join us for happiness and relaxation with many fun things to do. Warmest Mahalo, Paul & Eddene

We stayed at this Maui gem for a week for my sister's wedding. There were 7 of us and we really couldn't have asked for any better accommodations. The property is on the ocean(West side of Maui for sunsets every night) and has it's own private cove/sandy area. I would say this was what separated it from similar ocean-front properties that were nearby. For example the house next door had steps down to the water. That's fine I suppose but the ease of launching kayaks, paddle boards, etc. was a difference maker. All of those water toys are also conveniently stored under the house and can literally just be slid out and onto the sand. The outdoor shower was also a favorite of ours as most of us didn't shower inside at all. There's something about a refreshing shower and still being just feet from the ocean. Paul, the owner, was awesome to us during our stay. He answered our calls when we had questions and helped us with anything we needed, including advice for restaurants and things to do. The property also has several bikes and we were able to go get a few groceries in minutes by riding down to the nearby Foodland.
Please do yourself a favor and don't book anything other than this property! You won't regret it. The next time we go back to Maui we won't stay anywhere else!
Great access to the ocean ... wonderful views from the backyard ... great outdoor dining area ... relaxing hot tub ... we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Our party of seven fit very comfortably.
The 'Hidden Treasure' was just that!
This beautiful spot was truly a 'hidden treasure'. Perfect location, best view, and everything you could even imagine as far water toys. Even toys for the kids, games, bikes - everything you could think of was there - and then some! Can't give this place enough kudos - it is the best! Thank you Paul and Eddene - for letting us enjoy your piece of heaven - Mahalo
The ultimate in Lahaina charm and convenience
Upon arrival to this beachfront rental my husband and I were absolutely floored by the property. The photos of this place do not even begin to do it justice. Paul and Eddene, the owners, gave us a tour upon arrival and were very easy going and kind throughout the duration of our stay. This home was the perfect size for three generations of my family to come and stay--the kids and their spouses plus a grand baby in the main house and my parents in the guest house. The guest house, or "Ohana" was the perfect way for my parents to get some privacy and maintain sanity separate from us but was also close enough that they always felt included.
Everything we could have needed was provided by the owners and at our disposal 24/7. We're talking kayaks, paddle boards, surf boards, bikes, life vests, aqua socks, snorkels and beach gear--I mean you name it and they probably had it there. I'd say over the course of the trip everyone had discovered something new they really loved doing. My husband, who is never able to relax, found a new love for paddle boarding and took one out every day with my brother in law. My father who really isn't that adventurous was finding quiet time on the kayak most afternoons and strumming the ukulele into the evening. My sister and I, along with my 13 month old daughter, were in and out of the ocean via the private lagoon nonstop and loving every second of it (they even had an infant life vest and cool float toys!). There were plenty of lounge chairs for us to all lay out in the sun on the grass, an outdoor shower and a hot tub to warm up after early morning swims to see the sunset. My dad and I are Starbucks addicts and would take a 5 min walk (if that) into downtown Lahaina each morning to get our fix--there are shops, convenience stores, grocery, and so many cute restaurants all down the street. We ventured off into town or out to other local beaches a couple of times but mostly we wanted to stay locked in our little paradise on front street.
Before leaving we all decided that this is definitely a place we will return to, possibly even an annual vacation spot, because it just doesn't get any better than this. Would recommend this place to absolutely anyone who is looking for a true relaxing Maui getaway.
Stunning Views - Beautiful Home
Every accommodation we could have hoped for. Wonderful location - Close to shops and dining. Perfect for our family of eight.
What a beautiful place to stay and enjoy Lahaina
The owners are warm and friendly
The house is clean and spacious
The 2nd smaller house was very quaint
The ocean being right out front the back yard was awesome. We swam every morning and the kids played every chance they got
Several amenities are to long to list from kayaks, paddle boards, beach towels , BBQ, lots of outdoor seating, security gate, and so much more!
Well worth the money and their pictures don’t do this place justice
I would definitely stay again and again!
Located on the oceanfront on Front Street in Lahaina, you will not find a better location. Baby Beach is 1 block to the north (or you can swim or wade to it). Downtown Lahaina is 1 block to the south. The Banyon Tree Park, Lahaina Harbor (whale watching, fishing, dinner cruises, snorkel trips), Ulalena at the Maui Theater, Warren & Annebelle's Magic Show, surf lessons, Traditional Hawaiian Luaus, Wo Hing Temple Museum, Baldwin Home Museum, Sugar Cane Train, art galleries, shops and restaurants are all just steps away!
