Best location in Downtown Charleston! This Historic Tri-level townhouse offers 2 living areas, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, and a full kitchen including washer and dryer. The property is elegantly decorated and has heart pine and oak hardwood flooring throughout, accented by numerous oriental carpets. There are antique accents offsetting this cobblestone road address. Cable television is installed in all bedrooms. You are within walking distance of all Historic Downtown Charleston, voted #1 tourist destination in the U.S. 2012 by CondeNast Traveler.
Mike Campbell, the owner, went out of his way to ensure that our visit went smoothly. As an example, when we “checked out” and moved to a house in Folly Beach for a few days, we accidentally left a book in the chest of drawers on the third floor. I texted Mike that evening and asked if the new residents could leave the book on the back patio because we were coming into town in the next couple of days for dinner. Mike immediately called me and suggested that he could pick up the book and deliver it to the receptionist at our restaurant, which worked smoothly – after Mike took the time to set it up!
We thoroughly enjoyed the house. It had plenty of room for our family of five and for entertaining in-town extended family. We enjoyed expanding out on to the lovely back patio. It is nicely decorated in a style compatible with the historic flavor of the neighborhood, and the location is perfect for walking to restaurants, strolling along the water’s edge, and exploring the historic district. I’d recommend it to anyone!
We visited Charleston for a girls weekend. The location is just perfect! To walk to the Battery or waterfront with your morning coffee, or for a morning run was a beautiful start to our day. The house was well furnished and everything was ready when we arrived. We would absolutely stay here again!
This property was exactly as described with an outstanding location very near Rainbow Row, The Battery, the park along the harbor, and all the great restaurants located on East Bay Street. Off street parking a big plus. Mike, the property manager was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. For the price an outstanding value! Also, thanks Mike for the very nice fresh flowers and home made bread upon arrival. Both much appreciated. Would visit this property again.
Was in Charleston recently for a long weekend girl's trip. This was our first time to visit the beautiful city and it could not have been any better. This house was perfect and the fresh bread welcoming us just topped off the wonderful experience. This house is located just off the main street with all the sights of the city within walking distance. I would highly recommend this home and will definitely stay here again. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!
Couldn't have been happier with this rental!! We were welcomed by warm, fresh baked bread upon arrival - such a pleasant surprise. The location is amazing, right on Rainbow Row. We stayed here for a wedding and the venue happened to be less than a five minute walk from the rental, which worked out perfectly. The next time I return to Charleston (which I hope will be soon!) I would definitely want to stay at this home again. The owner was friendly and easy to get in touch with if need be. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area!
We had a group of 5 visiting Charleston for their first time and this house was in the perfect location. It was in walking distance of everything we wanted to see plus some great resturants. The house is very charming, immaculate, and rather big. We had plenty of room for us all. Mike was super nice and very accommodating to our every need. I must say the warm bread apon arrival is amazing. So glad that we choose this place and we will definitely book it again for our next trip to Charleston. Thanks Mike for being some helpful and for the perfect place to stay.
