This property was amazing!!!
The Rock House is a quaint little cabin with all of the amenities of home with an antique feel and an amazing view. You can see the lake but you are far from the hustle and bustle of town. There was lots of wildlife to watch on our morning hikes. Also the owners were very friendly and hospitable. It's great for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back soon.
Thank you for your kind words. The Rock House is a great getaway location. See you soon.
This was our first time booking through Home Away and we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful and perfect place!! We wanted to have a little staycation for our Anniversary that was not too far away from home but out of the city, and the Little Rock House was exactly what we needed. It was very clean and stocked with almost everything you could need. We will definitely come back in the future and recommend to all our friends!
A perfect example of Texas Hill Country Design + Build.
My Wife and I were traveling through Texas and decided to take a break from The Standard Hotel fare. Booking The Rock House was Perfect for the Stay!. We enjoyed the use of the barbecue grill and playing washers and horseshoes in the evening while enjoying the beautiful view.
While traveling through the state we stayed in various cities and hotels "checking in-checking-out etc... staying at the Rock House was like a vacation from the vacation.
Very nice place to relax
Our stay was wonderful. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 35th anniversary. All the accommodations were perfect. The scenery was great. Absolutely beautiful!!
Thank You for your kind words. Please come again.
The perfect get away for lovers.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the “The Rock House”. The nature and peaceful surroundings were very much needed for our get away from a busy life here in Houston, Texas. A very nice property to rent if you are looking for serenity. The kitchen was stocked. Stocked I said. The Bud Light was a nice touch. We brought a few groceries and fired up the grill.
We originally planned a trip to a winery but didn't want to leave our cabin.
The wildlife was a welcomed sight to see. We had fun feeding the fox and seeing the deer up close. We will rent The Rock House again in the future. Thanks so much for making us comfortable during our weekend stay. Great place!
P.S......Ann, we left you a gift on the guestbook.
Quaint, quiet and comfortable!
If you are looking for a place to completely unwind, th Rock House is it. Has all the comforts without any of the “noise” of everyday life. Also a great base to explore the Highland Lakes/Hill country of Texas. The owners are close by but never intervened. Everything we needed and more for our stay was here at arrival. Most important to us, the place was very clean and welcoming. The Rock House is well decorated and has character reflective of the area. Well done by the owners and highly recommend to others!
