About the property

This newly renovated property is equipped with all the essentials you need to feel at home. It includes a full kitchen equipped with the basic cooking essentials, coffee, tea, and a washer and dryer.

This is a great space for professionals doing work or for a group of friends that want to relax and watch Netflix. Each bedroom is equipped with a comfortable queen size bed and ample space for your belongings. If you’re looking to spend some quiet time outdoors you can take advantage of the fenced-in backyard and covered patio. The patio is great for catching up with friends or to just get some fresh air.

There are two entrances to the property… The front door which faces the main street and the back door which is in an alley behind the property. You can enter through the front door if you’re being dropped off by bus, taxi, or ride sharing driver (there is no parking on the main street). You can use the back door if you’re driving; you have your own parking spot and you will enter through the back gate.

You'll have access to entire unit 24/7 by electronic lock code.

The neighborhood

The neighborhood is quaint with lots of shady trees and walking distance to a Nature Preserve with hiking trails.

The property is a 20 minute drive to downtown and about 50 mins on a bus. The airport is about 20 minutes away by car and and about 90 minutes on a bus. There is a Bowling Alley and a Starbucks 2 minutes away by car. Highway 35 is a 10 min drive and Highway 1 (MOPAC) is about 6 mins away. Lots of eating options within a 10 minute drive radius.

Getting around

Plenty of parking on the alley behind duplex if you have a car. Bus #238 is only a few feet away from the front door. The bus fare is $2.50; bring cash!

Note: As of May 2016 Uber and Lyft are no longer operating in Austin city limits. You can use rideshare apps: Ride Fare, InstaRyde, or Fasten OR take a taxi or a bus to our place from the airport.

Other things to note

This is a duplex so please do not disturb tenants on the other side. Contact us directly should you need anything. **The sofa bed is on the smaller size. It comfortably fits one person. If you book for six guests, be sure the two on the sleeper sofa are on the smaller size.**
