This spacious and newly renovated 2 BR 2BA top floor unit in Building 9 offers all the comforts of home in over 1100 sq ft, with large lanai with both ocean and mountain views, loft, in-unit large sized laundry machines, major and small appliances. Dedicated parking stall assigned to unit. A short walk across the street provides easy access to the beautiful Kamaole Beach Park III, with some of Maui's best boogie-boarding. Snorkel, swim, and relax on the sandy shores at Kam III. Nearby restaurants and shopping are easily reached by enjoying a short walk for 3 blocks. Castle Resorts is our on-site property manager, with immediate response available through the front desk at Kamaole Sands, for any property related issues. This provides the guests the luxury of a resort condo unit, without the hassles of vacation property related issues.

Why Lorinda and Steve Grosso chose Hawaii

We wanted a condo in a very popular vacation spot, where many vacationers have found their paradise. South Maui has the island's best sandy beaches, and family friendly Kamaole Sands is directly across from the Kamaole Beach Park III. The area has easy access to nearby shopping, dining, and activities, yet offers the quiet atmosphere of a relaxing getaway. We wanted a unit that has an ocean view, and this one offers views of both the ocean and the mountain. The unit has a central air system, for year round comfort.

What makes this condo unique

We have set this unit up with all the amenities we could think of - Blue Ray DVD players, a movie library, cable TV, wi-fi and plug-in internet access in the unit, 55' flat screen TV in the living room, a flat screen TV in each bedroom, cards and games for adults and kids, new Serta iSeries mattresses in both bedrooms, a pack n play for an infant or small child, many small kitchen appliances, water noodles, several coolers for food and drinks, travel cups, beach tote bag, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach games and toys, beach towels, etc. Guests are welcome to use these items when out enjoying the island.

Family Vacation Maui 2016

What a WONDERFUL place to stay in Maui! In my eyes, the ONLY place! My sister and I vacationed with our children and grandchildren, and this condo is the one my son and his family stayed in. What a beautiful property! The central air conditioning felt SO good after a day out playing, and from beach towels to umbrellas and everything in between, absolutely everything needed, or wanted, for the beach was provided.....only thing we needed to take was our swimsuits! There was want for nothing at this beautiful place .... the kitchen had everything one could desire, right at their fingertips, .... as did the living room, bedrooms and bathrooms.

The location is great! We walked everywhere --- right across the street to the beach (oh, how we loved the beach!), and just a few blocks down the street to the ice cream shop, souvenir shops, Maui Tacos, and the ABC Store --- we had a fabulous time!

The owners remained in constant communication with me right from the day I inquired about Kamaole Sands 9-409. I was led effortlessly through the rental process, and Steve even CALLED my son during the week of our stay to see how things were going, and was there anything additional he could provide to make my son's vacation more enjoyable! How's THAT for kindness and caring for others?! What marvelous people Steve and Lorinda are!

If, Lord willing, I ever get to visit Maui again, they will be the first people I contact! Thank you so much! May God richly bless your day!

Family get-a-way Maui style

This property was absolutely fantastic - location across from the beach, near shopping and restaurants - simply perfect. Amenities inside the condo were excellent and within the complex were great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The concierge staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in booking excursions around the island. Highly recommend this property and hope to return again.

Perfect Family Getaway

We spent 10 days at the Komole Sands 9-409. This condo was very well located. Close walking to beaches, shops and restaurants. The condo itself is perfect for a family or group of people. Besides having central air, it also containes a fully stocked kitchen which we utilized several times, and a fully stocked closet full of beach amenities which we also greatly appreciated for our many beach visits! The large lanai is also perfect with a view. Overall we really enjoyed it all. The only thing we were a bit confused on was the check out procedures. It was simple to turn the keys into the office, but we were not sure exactly what cleaning or linen washing we were to do before checking out. I looked in the condo book but there was no mention of what we were responsible for. In the end we emptied all trash, ran the dishwasher, sweapt and vacuumed and emptied both the freezer and refrigerator. We would recommend this condo to families with younger kids and teenagers.

Perfect Family Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. We have 3 children, ages 11, 9, & 6 and we felt very comfortable for our visit. The property is updated, clean and as great location to ocean/beach, shopping and eating. The owners have put together a great book that offers suggestions of places to eat and tips on how to save money with groceries and booking excursions (all things that are important when trying to plan for a family of 5)! The condo is equipped with gear to take to the beach including coolers, lawn chairs, sand toys and boogie boards. Highly recommend this property and plan to return! Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us! The pool was filled with many families and our children made new friends every day! Very family friendly property.

Awesome rental!

An amazing condo to rent! There were four of us staying and there was so much room. The Decour of the condo was perfect for the island. I loved that we could eat at the condo as well as head down the street for a delicious meal! We could not have been more happy with our accommodations! It was so nice to come back each day after exploring the island or hanging out out at the beach. It truly was our tropical home! Hoping to stay again sometime soon in the near future!!

Beautiful condo, location

This was our first trip to Hawaii, and the condominium was large and very pleasant. Your every need (laundry, TVs, nearby elevator and trash disposal) made for a very pleasant week there. Steve was even nice enough to "check in" with us on our first day to make sure all was well.

The location is just great. 30 minutes from the airport on the "southwest" – as in "sunnier" – side of the island, if offers plenty to do right across the street. The quiet beach offers sunbathing and snorkeling (with giant and gentle sea turtles!), and even (in winter) the occasional whale sighting right offshore. Along the road, there are restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket. Our condo also offered a great spot to launch our adventures, from the daylong "Road To Hana" (and back) trip to Mount Haleakala to the western beaches, nothing was too far away.

While not a "resort" facility, the accommodations are very clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. If you are two couples sharing, this is a tremendous value. You will be happy, I'm sure. We were!

Kamaole Sands is located in South Kihei, on the island of Maui, Hawaii. It is directly across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III, the best boogie-boarding beach on Maui, according to a recent publication of the book, Maui Revealed. South Kihei has wonderful sandy beaches, and abundant water activities. Snorkel with tropical fish and turtles, swim, boogie-board, surf, paddle board, and the list goes on. Take one of the many tours available for snorkeling, whale watching, dinner cruises, etc. Take in a luau on the beach, or at a nearby hotel. Go sightseeing, hiking, or just walk on a sandy beach. Enjoy a sunrise at the top of Haleakala, Maui's dormant volcano, and take the mountain bike ride down the mountain to the beach. The list is endless!

The resort fee covers electronic entry gate cards, parking pass for our unit's reserved parking slot by our building, pool gate passcode, Maui newspaper (available in the lobby and at the pool at no additional charge), Maui magazine (no additional charge), unlimited local telephone calls & no charge for access to 1-800 telephone calls, complimentary internet with computers and wi-fi in the lobby and wi-fi at the pool, and a weekly Wednesday poolside Mai Tai Party (3-5pm). Wi-fi and plug-in internet access is available at no charge in our unit as well. You have access to the resort's on-site concierge activity booking service, poolside food concierge service, and on-site boogie board and snorkel gear rental facility. The front desk has tennis equipment available for rent.

Two closets offer ample space. The bedroom on the main floor has two new Serta iSeries mattresses, which can be configured as a king bed. There are built-in drawers in the space-saving closet. A flat screen TV and Blue Ray DVD player is on the entertainment shelving in that room. The futon in the lounge area between the kitchen and the living room folds down into a double bed. As with any double bed size arrangement, this might be best suited for children or smaller adults.
