About the property

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2-6

Location, Location, Location! A lovely spacious retreat only a half Block from Bourbon puts you smack dab in the middle of the action but above the fray. All guests since 2013 have rated us 5 stars.

Just step out the door of this fully equipped apartment down the elevator and out the security door to the heart beat of the French Quarter.

It is only steps to all the best the Vieux Carre has to offer. Great Jazz clubs, award winning restaurants, karaoke bars, art and antique shops, street musicians and performers are all just a short stroll from your door step.

New Orleans has improved its streetcar lines and has a station just down the block to take you from Canal straight to the Super Dome, so this location is ideal for any activities there. Just walk down the street, hop a streetcar and you are there! For the Jazz Fest you can catch it to Carrollton, transfer to City Park and walk to the Fairgrounds. You can go down St. Charles to view the beautiful homes on that famous street and visit the Audubon Zoo. You don’t need a car to get around!

Come back after a busy day to unwind in a lovely, light, airy and spacious newly renovated 865 square foot apartment. The apartment features exposed brick walls, hardwood floors and high lofty ceilings. You can enjoy the views of the quaint balconies and roof tops of the unique New Orleans architecture from your windows. You can even peek out and see Bourbon Street!

The apartment sleeps 6 comfortably. The king bed in both the private and semi-private bedrooms are extremely comfortable! The rest of the apartment has two living areas, one with a day bed with pillow top mattresses and a trundle that sleeps two, the other with comfortable seating. The semi-private bedroom is on the upper level behind drapes that can be open or closed. (In case you want to watch TV from the bed.)

The full size kitchen is furnished with all necessities for simple meals. There is a full sized washer/dryer, iron and small ironing board and a hair dryer to use at the well lit dressing table in the bedroom for your convenience. There are also two make up stations in the bathroom and a desk in the upper bedroom for work or make up..

There is cable with a flat screen 40” TV and Free WiFi. There is also an outdoor pool to enjoy if the weather permits.

Why spend your time in this amazing city in a boring hotel with no personality when you can live like the locals with all the comforts of home?

We’ve provided all the conveniences of home so your trip to the “Big Easy” can be just that.

NOTE: Special events have higher rates and minimum stays. The weekend before Mardi Gras 2017 has a 4 night minimum and is $500/night for 2-4 and an additional $100/night for 5-66. (That is only $116/per person for a large apartment 1/2 block off bourbon and a block from the Parade Route!)

Perfect Hideaway!

  • 4 of 5

I stayed here this past weekend for my Bachelorette Party with 3 other women. There was more than enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably, we all had our own bed! The noise from Bourbon Street does carry quite a bit to the apartment but the location is unbeatable. We were able to walk everywhere, and a parade even routed right in front of this apartment! If you are coming to New Orleans to explore the French Quarter and to party on Bourbon Street it is perfect! The apartment itself was very modern and homey, we were comfortable and enjoyed relaxing there after long days of exploring.

best apartment ever!!!!

We choose this location because of the $$ and the pictures. These pictures did not lie!!! Owner was great to work with. I feel like I bothered him for months and days before we got there. Our trip was planned for my grandson to play his Sax on the streets. I would highly recommend this place for others to stay at. We ate all our meals out and never had a bad meal. Ruby Slipper over on Canal - very good. Acme Seafood - AWESOME. And most of our meals were at the open area down by the market. Highly recommend you go online and get a 3 or 5 day trolley pass.

Excellent stay!

  • 5 of 5

Rented for my cousin's bachelorette party, and the place did not disappoint! Located right off Bourbon, and while the noises did carry through, being so central was absolutely worth it. The apartment was decorated perfectly and slept the six of us comfortably. All amenities were easy to find and made the trip completely hassle-free.

Would definitely stay here again on a future visit and highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the French Quarter!

A Great Apartment!!

  • 5 of 5

If you want convenience and excitement, you won't find a better place. Four of us, one couple and two adult women, spent four days for the New Year's celebrations and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Yes, the Bourbon Street craziness was close enough to hear, but the ear plugs provided shut out the noise and allowed all to have a good night's sleep. The facilities are top notch, yet felt homey. Bathroom scheduling is needed when three of the occupants are female, but good communications avoided any problems.

We parked our car one block away in a parking garage and didn't pick it up until it was time to load up for the trip home. We never missed the car because everything is so close and convenient. If your primary interest is the French Quarter, I don't see how you could do better!

Spent the Christmas holiday in New Orleans with my wife and daughters. The apartment was wonderful. The location made everything very accessible. The street car stop was just two blocks away. Bourbon street was only a couple hundred feet, yet it never seemed to be to loud once inside. Would absolutely stay there again.

Colorful, clean, comfortable and close to everything.

  • 5 of 5

We spent our Thanksgiving week in New Orleans, staying in this lovely apartment. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teens. The location was great for visiting the French Quarter without a car. A single bus from the Louis Armstrong airport terminal dropped us 5 blocks from our front door. Access was easy, but the building felt safe. Our visit included excellent restaurants, the world-famous live music, a giant Thanksgiving parade, an enjoyable swamp tour (which happily picked us up in front of our apartment), a real steamboat ride, and a historic plantation tour. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for the six of us. The charming local decor, central location, and capacity for 6 made this far better than any hotel.
