dirty place, landscape is completely overgrown and unkept. There was no beach chairs, one garbage bag (stupid on their oart) no soap bars, paper towels you pretty much needed to rent a van so you could move in for while thete. no welcome booklet with any introduction to facility...I didnt like it.

largely disappointed

Given the price the property is very dated. No orientation except for the noise notice and post it notes in the bathrooms on the delicate septic tank.

I could not find the light switch for the front lawn, with young kids it was risky at night time given the number of steps involved. The air conditioning was turned off and the contact number was not helpful on the arrival date. It took us 4 hours to find the switch. Again there should be written instructions in lieu of an orientation in person. It took two days to fix the internet and it was slow when fixed anyways. The password supplied was wrong and the correct one was at the buttom of the router. The TV on switch was difficult to find. The dishwasher was out of service for our entire stay.

The pictures on the website were touched up to make the place look better than it is. The mattress I slept on was very uncomfortable. The bathrooms up stairs had a low water pressure, in this day and age a simple water pump will fix this. The bathroom down stairs smelled and was leaking at the base, this should be fixed.

There was no shade provided at the beach, a simple beach umbrella would have been good to have. I was surprised by the large number of steps involved to get down to beach, there should be a gate at the beginning of the stairs to prevent small kids from falling and having a serious injury. If you had a knee problem there is no way to make to the beach. Unfortunately there were many dead fish on the beach ( not your fault but that did not help).

The place needs upgrading and maintenance and a better orientation for the guests. Even the check out time is a bit early ( it should be like hotels at 11 or noon) . Overall I was expecting better for the cost of the rental.

old looking

  • 2 of 5

Property is okay, there is a lot of bugs around the area due to it being surrounded by tree's. Steep walk down to the beach. There was a man walking around the house claiming he worked for the owner Tom but did not introduce himself. I was told check out time was 12, the cleaners showed up at 10am? The house itself looks very old compared to the ones around it.
