Property Manager Julie is close by and will be on hand for any queries you may have during your stay.
Julie manages the property for the owners Paula and Martin, who live in Cotswolds in England. Martin is an Engineer and works for Formula 1 Racing and Paula is an Artist. Many of Paula's paintings are on display around the house and some of Paula's work has been exhibited at the Arts Centre (Siamsa Tíre) in Tralee. Dingle is where she finds much of her inspiration. Martin is passionate about angling and loves to relax and unwind while fishing down on the beach in Minard.
Julie Conway purchased this house in 2005
Dingle was voted 'The Most Beautiful Place on Earth' by the National Geographic and when you come here you will understand why Paula and Martin fell in love with the area. They decided to buy this property in 2005 because of its unique location and close proximity to the beautiful beach in Minard.
Just a stone’s throw from a beautiful sandy beach.
Stunning ocean and countryside views.
There is something very soothing about being able to lie in bed listening to the waves lapping the beach.
This hidden gem is in the most peaceful and tranquil setting you can imagine. You will definitely leave here feeling inspired!

Slea Head was spectacular. The Global Village was enjoyed by all. The beach is wonderful & so beautiful. The hike up the hill was an adventure! Best of all was the view from the Juliet balcony in the Master Bedroom.
Thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful home and to Julie the property manager for being so helpful.
Hope to return.
We love rural Ireland and this filled the bill. The contrast of the sea views just beyond the cow pasture was what we wanted and what we got. The beds were good and the 5 bathrooms made for harmony. Would rent this again.
Bay View was a perfect base for our Dingle holiday. It had everything we needed and more. The pictures don't do the beach and castle justice. We spent an entire afternoon playing frisbee on the beach, with it all to ourselves - magical. I'd recommend Bay View to anyone looking to come to Dingle for an Irish adventure.
Our family included 7 adults and 3 children ages 5, 3 and 8 months and all of us were very comfortable. The house is spacious and quiet. The location is beautiful with a very short and fun walk to the beach which is beautiful with Minard Castle standing watch over it from a small hill. If you have kids in your group, you can't go wrong with a castle in your backyard. We enjoyed walking the beach at low tide and the views are amazing. Don't miss the short walk up the path to the well. A fun drive was from the house, past the beach and continuing along the road up the hills, narrow but worth it for the views. In fact take time to drive all the roads in the area, views await everywhere. I also recommend going up to Annescaul lake and then stop in at the South Pole Inn. Dingle is beautiful and plenty of good pubs. Drive Slea Head and the Connor Pass, you won't regret it.
Julie was very accommodating as we arrived early and she came right over to let us in. I'm sure she also would have been there immediately if we needed her during the week but we never had any issues or reason to call her. We really loved our week at this house and it is a perfect spot from which to explore the Dingle Penninsula. Thanks Julie!
My family and I thought our stay in the Dingle Beach House was nothing short of magical. I know this as our 10 days’ vacation ended 5 weeks ago and yet we are still talking about it. Big props to Julie, who braved a rainstorm to make sure we found the house and had everything we needed…. We were severely jet lagged but Julie was patient in making sure we were settled in. She also offered a gift of handmade baked goods and some very nice wine for our arrival. She went the extra mile by calling us and double-checking our luck with the modem (why we brought laptops and tablets …. I don’t know).
The house is large and well designed. We had 6 adults and with the living room and nook off of the kitchen we could get comfortable after a day of sightseeing. The linens were quality. Everything worked. The appliances were all relatively new, the washer/dryer is a plus and were in constant use. Every room is decorated tastefully and the style is warm.
When you match this beautiful house with the location….. You understand how special it all is. The property sits above a beach and is surrounded by farm land nestled below large hills viewable in the distance. It was serene but dramatic as the December storm clouds would race across the valley. We could sit in living room and watch this unfold thru large windows…… add a wood burning stove, plate of Dingle cheese…. Some wine.… It was fantastic.
Go dtí gcasfar le chéile sinn arís
We arrived at our meeting place, Kate’s Cross, hours later than expected due to airline delays. Julie, who we notified of our midnight arrival time, met us with a cheery welcome as she led us to the house. Even arriving after a long and tiring trip we were impressed with the house and immediately felt at home. It wasn’t until the next morning that we took in the full extent of the beauty of the house and its setting. We appreciated the quiet, the only sound was the ticking of the kitchen clock. The views from the house were stunning and included water views from both levels. The views of the surrounding green countryside and pastures were breathtaking. We took a short walk down to the the beach taking pictures of Minard castle. Returning to the house for morning tea before imparting on one of many day trips to enjoy the surrounding areas. The location of the house was great for quick trips into Dingle for lunch or groceries or for touring the Dingle Peninsula as well as the Ring of Kerry. We were sad to leave the house at the end of our week and hope to return again soon. A big thanks to Julie for all of her help during our stay.
We were delighted to find the property was such a great home and well supplied for a group of seven. The owner was well prepared for us and gave us directions to the house that were better than a GPS. She truly has a slice of heaven with this home and anyone who rents here will find it to be one of the most scenic places in the world.
Minard is one the most beautiful areas on the Dingle Peninsula and this is reflected by its inclusion on the famous 'Dingle Way'. This popular walker’s route goes through the area, passing Minard Castle and Lispole village before joining a mountain track that leads to the old Conor Pass road and into Dingle. If scenery is your thing, you won't be disappointed!
On Kilmurry Bay (also known as Beal na gCloc) are the remains of Minard Castle towering over a sandy beach lined with large rounded sandstone boulders. An Iron Age ring fort and an early-Christian holy well are also in close proximity.
The drama of the Anglo-Irish conflict explosively played out here in 1650 and 300 years later Minard was the political backdrop for David Lean’s Oscar-winning 1970 film Ryan’s Daughter, which was filmed here and at other locations on the Dingle Peninsula.
The hilltop ring fort is located at the eastern end of the bay and St. John the Baptist's Holy Well at the western end.
