This slice of heaven is the ideal place for a romantic getaway, a couple's weekend retreat or a memorable celebration of life.
Our suite has been especially sought after with honeymooners, guests celebrating their anniversaries, birthdays and engagements and visitors who enjoy the superb location.
Park your car (self-parking at a discounted rate is available in a covered and camera secured garage only one block from the suites) and never get back in it if dining in the many acclaimed restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, antiquing and discovering the splendor and beauty of Charleston is your goal.
We offer a 5 star deluxe suite that has been lovingly restored to keep the elegance of yesteryear with all the modern luxuries and conveniences. The suite is charming, well appointed, private (only two suites in our building) and secure (multiple key less entry locks). A custom kitchenette is available in your room with a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishes and utensils. We provide soaps and towels, coffee, water, chocolates, Biscotti and a bottle of wine to welcome you! You are sure to enjoy sweet dreams in our queen plush pillow top mattress dressed with 1800 (!) count linens.
Relax on our beautiful slate patio with a tranquil waterfall fountain or in the sitting area in the foyer, a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine, to read a book on Charleston or to catch up on your emails using our free WiFi.

While visiting the area in 1998 we fell in love with the charm of this historic city and its surroundings, the Southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle and decided to move here and make it home! We love it more each year. We opened One of a Kind Gallery the year we moved to Charleston. One of a Kind features art and fine crafts from nationally acclaimed artists as well as art by regional and local artisans. We have decorated the suite with lovely original art by artisans from this region. The gallery is located on the same street as the suite, only a few doors down. Let's keep it all on the same block! ;)
The location is second to none! This is the VERY BEST location in downtown!
The building has a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop on the ground floor and opens up to a charming courtyard in the back. There is a complimentary trolley that stops immediately in front of our building and takes you anywhere you could want to go downtown. Bike taxis and horse drawn carriages are just outside our building and a popular way of getting around to discover Charleston's historic treasures and landmarks.

The space is amazingly located right off the corner of Meeting and Market. The space was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Definite gem in Charleston.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Charleston and found this wonderful and meticulously maintained gem of a property in the heart of downtown Charleston - we walked everywhere. No fuss check-in procedure and the owners are extremely organized and helpful as it relates to the sights of Charleston and surrounding area. A personal touch with a handwritten note and bottle of wine was a very lovely bonus. Everything was perfect in every way, and we hope to visit again in the near future. We highly recommend this beautiful property!
I am very familiar with and often use VRBO for my own vacations. In fact I have listed my own property for over 12 years. I know particularly well what it means to be a meticulous owner and pay attention to every detail - not only about the property itself but to the renters needs. I can assure you that the owners of this gem of a property went above and beyond expectations. The owner answered my calls even from their own vacation in Europe. I emailed late on the last night asking for a late check out and they responded immediately the next morning. The check in and out process was extremely seamless and very easy despite being in the heart of Charleston. I was able to unload my bags, put them in the apartment and then park which is no easy task when you are alone in a city. I will, without a doubt rent this property again next time I am in Charleston!
Lucked into this spot when another place cancelled, and boy, were we the winners!! The pictures do not even begin to do it justice! Every convenience is provided, and the location cannot be beat. Wonderful host communication and a perfect experience!

Our rates are from low season $169 per nt to high season $329 per nt. Deposit required at time of booking to secure dates. Parking is available for a reduced rate of $16 per nt in the secure Cumberland parking garage located one block from suite. We will deduct the parking fee from your $100 security deposit for your convenience.
We recommend that our guests take out a traveler's insurance policy that covers your reimbursement if you should need to cancel within 60 days of your stay with us.
