The cabin was nice, location was not as private as it seemed on the picture. Cabin was not clean, the floors were a bit dirty and the carpets and rug in the bathroom seemed like they had not been vacuumed in a while. The shower has hairs on the shower walls so I assume they were not cleaned either. The sheets in the beds had not been changed..that was very disappointing to say the least. The maintenance on the outside was not very good either. The owners sister was on the clock to get us going on the day of check out. She was there a few minutes before our check out time to start cleaning. I doubt I will ever stay at this cabin again.
This was a beautiful log cabin to stay 30 minutes away from the crowds in Yellowstone. The cabin had everything we needed. So nice to be able to do laundry, grill, and eat home cooked meals. The one bathroom was a bit small, but manageable for our family of 4 with two teens. The downstairs bedroom was a little short on places to unpack our clothing and it would have been nice to have wifi to download our pictures, driving apps, and travel apps. However, overall this was much nicer than a hotel room in the city. There were beautiful trees and flowers growing in the yard, the owner was receptive and available, and we really enjoyed the free river float!
Big cabin with a nice kitchen, fireplace, plenty of sleeping room. About a 20 minute drive to west Yellowstone. Only complaint was that we had trouble finding it, it sits back behind a bunch of trees, overall we had a great trip!
We stayed three nights in this cabin while we visited Yellowstone. I had my three small children and my mom and her husband with me. The loft was perfect for me and the kids, and the bedroom worked well for the other two. Yellowstone was only about a 30 minute drive, and the home had everything we needed as far as cooking gear and bedding/towels. We found the place easily enough (and in the dark too) by following the directions provided by the host. We'd definitely stay here again should we choose to visit the area in the future!
The cabin is a bit older but totally adequate and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and the owner made check-in check-out easy.
Everything was wonderful once we got to the cabin. Our only concern was that we had to call the toll free number to get the actual location and the # of the lock box. The cabin was one street away from the directions that were on the app. Once I was able to talk to the owner, whose number was given to me by the customer service representative on the toll free number, she guided us straight to the cabin. Both the customer service representative and the owner of the cabin were helpful and friendly. My only suggestion would be to verify with the customer the actual location and any pertinent information thry may need upon arrival.
