Perfect, wonderful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Rented this cabin for 4 nights while our family toured Yellowstone. We all loved the cabin! The fireplace was great, the loft and 2 double beds were perfect for our teenage daughters and that log staircase is even more impressive in person. I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen is. Plenty of glassware, dishes and utensils made meal preparation much easier than the usual set up of rentals. The cabin is a very comfortable drive into Yellowstone and having cable TV was a bonus, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin and will be happy to rent it again, next time we come up.

Great Hosts -- Comfortable Property

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks, while I was researching my latest guidebook. Kellyn and Glade were easy to work with -- Kellyn even texted me the weather report when the Direct TV was down and there were snow storms coming in.

The place is much larger than it looks in the photos, and the kitchen has every kind of pot, pan, utensil and plate that you will ever need.

The downstairs bed was a bit soft for our taste, so we moved up to the beds in the loft, which worked just fine. Kind of like Goldilocks:)

When we ran out propane for the BBQ, the tank was promptly replaced the next day.

It's a very quiet and comfortable property. And it's in a good location and very reasonably priced for a Yellowstone visit. There's not a lot around the cabin, but for us that was a plus!

I really liked the cabin, it was very spacious and warm.

  • 4 of 5

It was a very nice cabin, plenty of place to sleep and lots of place to relax. There is one bathroom and it's on the small side. Large kitchen with lots of dishes etc. There are no extras like some rentals, coffee, sugar and such. I didn't like the rule that the renters must wash the towels or be fined. We were leaving early in the morning so we found this a little awkward & also we were left wondering if the previous renters actually washed their towels or just put them in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet.

Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this location.

Quaint, remote, simple, no frills

  • 3 of 5

Quaint cabin in remote area. GPS took us to wrong road. Recently renovated. Nice alternative to hotels, kids happy to get own beds. However, when arrived there was load of dirty towels in washer, unswept upstairs carpet, couldn't get gas fireplace lit, ant problem in kitchen. Bed comfortable, could use nicer curtains, towels and bed linens.
