Modern, upscale and simple
The cottage is modern, upscale and delightful!
Just right for a two people.
Me and my girlfriend stayed in this cabin it was very nice. Smaller than expected but it was perfect for the two of us.
True to it's name, the Hummingbird Cottage delighted us with many hummingbird visits! The location is great with easy access to all the area has to offer. The cottage is super clean and very cozy, supplying everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's even nicer than the photos! Don't miss the Lake Lure Flower Bridge and the hike on Bearwallow Mountain. Sarah is a delight as well. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed it very much. How do I get my $100 refund back?
Woodsy. Tidy. Supreme Bargain
My husband and I attended a wedding in Alexander... we found this gem of a get-away based on stellar reviews. They were all accurate. This cabin is polished and stocked. What a happy arrival to see chocolates waiting on the table.
We used our free time to explore this beautiful area...and our down time was just as wonderful. My husband napped in one of the incredibly comfy chairs while I parked myself on my back in the mossy side yard and dozed off completely peaceful.
The shower. Like home. She even had my same shampoo stocked. Getting ready for the wedding in the woods rather than a hotel. Loved it!
We will never stay in a hotel again and can not wait to come back to this little treasure.
Thank you for everything we hoped for!
-my husband (the constant complainer was perplexed to find a single gripe which I thought was a riot. He finally discovered that maybe the toilet paper holder was too low for his height...but really, there is NO downside to this place
Lovely cottage was perfect for our getaway
The house had everything we needed for a stay in the Asheville area. Sarah was a wonderful host and the house was extremely clean. We found it cozy and the view was wonderful. We enjoyed the bit of snow we experienced while in North Carolina. I would highly recommend this property!
