About Craig Bohn

I am a patent attorney and business startup consultant, with clients primarily in Texas, Montana, and Silicon Valley. Until 2009 I was the Chief IP counsel for a semiconductor manufacturer in Kalispell, that was purchased by Applied Materials. I presently live in San Jose, with my wife, Debra, who is the chief managed care contracts negotiator for Stanford Medical’s physician groups.

Craig Bohn purchased this house in 2007

Why Craig Bohn chose Montana

Large common areas connected to kitchen permits everyone to have space while still being within contact. Private office off common area to address any business requirements. A covered deck spans the entire back of the house, providing a peaceful vantage point to view the river, island, and eastern Swan Mountains.

Centrally located in Flathead county, making all the activities the area offers easily accessible. The island across the river provides hours of hiking opportunities, with chances to see eagles, osprey, beaver, ducks, geese and cranes. Deer frequently cross the bridge in the morning and evening, and wander across the property.

What makes this house unique

Private office off the common area, with highspeed wired internet, permits one to address any business requirements. Wifi throughout house. The 2-car garage is essential during the winter. Washer and dryer on-site.

Very comfortable home.

  • 5 of 5

I was one of four ladies who took a golf trip to Montana and used this house as our "home base." It more than met our needs. It was comfortable and well appointed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Were we to plan another trip to this area, we would definitely be happy to stay here again.

awesome stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was definitely the ideal stay as opposed to staying in a hotel and much more reasonable. The idea of having our whole family together under one roof and being able to cook and not go out for every meal was awesome. I don't have any complaints for our stay because it was all awesome! The only thing that kind of weirded me out was the fact that they have a tenant living in the basement and was not aware of that until we got there. He never comes up to the main level but you will hear the garage door early in the morning. I would definitely like to come back and stay here again though!

p.s. the nitpicking comments I read before my stay are just people who are REALLY nitpicking at every little detail.

The inside of the property was clean, but the outside we felt is in need of repair.

  • 3 of 5

The deck paint is peeling and the roof near the skylights is leaking. The table and chairs outside were filthy. My husband spent an hour just to get the big dirt off. The bbq is about to fall apart. We were also told there were spices in the kitchen, which was not the case. The dock is so small(what was left of it )made it impossible to layout on. The water fjlter on the refrigerator needed to be changed. It was just trickling water. The water pressure was so low that the showers that it was almost impossible to rinse our hair. I'm sorry to be so negative, but after searching so carefully for a nice place to stay we were all disappointed.

Sincerely,

David and Sheila Korn

Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

This home is everything it looks like and more. They have thought of everything. Loved all the special lighting effects. Would definitely stay there again. The manager was more than accommodating when we had issues with the TV and even came out to get it working so we could watch the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup. Can't say enough good things about it. Loved being right on the river.

Kalispel at its Best!

  • 4 of 5

How wonderful it to venture out on the deck each morning and evening to watch the river, white tail deer, Canadian geese and the mountains. The location of the property is ideal with wildlife at your door and town only minutes away and the airport so convenient. The home is well equipped for three couples getting away from the city and each to have their own private bedroom and bath. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

Notes:
Owner lived in this house for four years, and has close connections to the community. Please mention any special requests or questions, and we will get them addressed. A friend who is periodically in the area is a retired Air Force pilot with his own plane. When it gets close to your stay, check with me to see if he will be in the valley at the time. He has taken many of our guest up for the cost of fuel, and he may give you an aerial view of the valley and Glacier Park.
