The perfect beach location. It is just a short 1 block walk to the beach, plus your boat dock is just a few steps away. Enjoy the beautiful pool and landscaped courtyard and your own private patio with BBQ grill. This is an incredibly relaxing place with 'location, location, location'. Bring your boat (up to 20'; arrangements can be made for larger boats), swim in the pool, or walk to the beach, or just sit in the shade of our enormous Cuban laurel tree. This is an exceptionally clean unit, fully stocked with just about anything you might need. Grill out on your patio, or enjoy a game of shuffleboard. Fish from the dock. Walk to the beach for a beautiful sunset. Take your boat up 'ski-alley' to Stumps Pass and out to the Gulf or stay in the bay.

We are a Christian couple, with four grown children and 16 grandchildren. We live in Brandon Florida, which is a suburb of Tampa. We have recently retired, and we love to stay on the beach whenever we can. Because we are semi-local, we make sure that our property is always in tip top shape for our guests.

Why AnglersResort Unit 6;VRBO #450517 chose Englewood

We had vacationed in Manasota Key several years before we purchased this condo. On a 4th of July weekend we found Anglers Resort (on VRBO) and came for the weekend. While visiting, we found out that this unit was available for sale. We bought it in December 2010 and renovated and refurnished it. We live in Tampa and come down as often as we can (but not often enough). Our goal is to keep this condo furnished in the same way we would want it if we were traveling.

What makes this condo unique

Anglers Resort is a unique property. It has a relaxed feel to it with a spacious courtyard, wonderful heated swimming pool, and dock space for the boater or fisherman, and a short walk to the beach. It was originally developed in the 1950s as a motel catering to people who liked to fish. In the 1980s it was converted to condominiums. All of the units are individually owned, and ours is managed by Manasota Key Realty. The property is well maintained. We never fail to meet interesting people whenever we stay there. The courtyard setting allows you to get to know other people either at the docks or in the pool, or while you're out grilling on your patio. One our favorite things is the massive Cuban Laurel tree just outside our door in the courtyard. The shade from the tree is just incredible. You can watch the fish jumping in the canal from the shade of the tree.
