This superb 2 bed apartment is part of a secure gated urbanization, located in a quite area, This modern apartment has 2 bedrooms 1 double room and 1 with 2 single beds both come with fitted wardrobes. A open plan living area, bi-fold doors open up onto a private secure tiled patio area and garden, equipped with modern patio dining table and chairs. Ideal for BBQ entertaining and sunbathing, safe and secure for children. The patio area enjoys sun for most of the day, And overlooks a superb garden and pool area which is kept immaculate throughout the year. The blue flag rated La Mata Beach is within 15 to 22 minutes walking distance, there are local supermarkets10 minutes walk, and most of the bars and restaurants are 10 to 15 minutes minutes walk away.

Outside on your doorstep is a lovely aromatic park: The property is on the brow of hill and Would not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulty.Just five minutes walk away you can hire bikes for 5 Euro a day. Within walking distance you will find a varied selection of bars range in from your quite Spanish tavernas to your typical holiday fun spots, a wide choice of restaurants, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and of course English, if your missing home comforts there's also English fish and chips! Several supermarkets are in walking distance. Which provide you with plenty of variety and choice, If your mood takes you further a field the bus stop is located across the road to the busy resort of Torrevieja, buses run approx every 10 min in high season.

Travel: Alicante Airport and Murcia are both about 35 to 40 minutes away.

Transfers can be arranged.

A car is not essential but it would enable you to travel further a field and there are lots of places well worth a visit.A water park is a 5 minutes drive away.

This area boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year.

It is a short drive to the famous salt lakes and golf courses.

La Mata, on the Costa Blanca in Spain, is an ideal place for a holiday in Spain. The village of La Mata is a typical Spanish village which not only has one of the best sandy beaches in Spain, it also has an excellent street market every Wednesday morning.We have some good bars, shops and restaurants.

It's hard to talk about La Mata without talking about the excellent beach in La Mata, without doubt, one of the best beaches in Spain is in La Mata - the beach has held the European Blue Flag for several years, for cleanliness, water quality and safety. There a plenty of lifeguards, first aid huts and refreshment kiosks open all day on the beach, and there are sunbeds and parasols available for hire at competitive rates. During high season pedal boats are available for hire - they are great fun, especially the ones with the slides on the back!

Golf: Several golf courses within easy reach. No more than a 20/30 minute drive, Las Ramblas is a very demanding course . La Finca is a bit expensive but well worth the few extra Euro. Villa Martin is one of the Championship courses close by. A little less demanding than Las Ramblas. Campamoar is a beautiful course with lots of palm trees. La Marquesa, nice course, but a few ups and downs. The apartment is ideally located for a Spanish golfing . There are five golf courses within 20/30 minute drive. There are more golf courses both to the north and south of Torrevieja.

Ideal property with a young family

We had a lovely time. Property was nice and clean with everything we required. Very easy to communicate by email/text/Phone with the owners. Would stay there again. Grounds around the pool were also maintanied and clean and tidy.

Lovely ground floor apartment next to pool

Had a great holiday totally hassle free, had the huge pool to ourselves most days.

There are a few bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. We hired a car and it made a great base for us to travel and explore.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We have just returned from spending a week at this apartment. Communication between Margaret, the owner before we went was excellent. We were a couple and found it had everything you needed to make your holiday perfect, also plenty big enough for a family. It's in a lovely quiet residential area with its own large terrace overlooking the pool. Whilst we were there we only saw a handful of people using it, so on most days we felt like we had our own private pool. The apartment is a short walk to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. We hired a car so got out and about a lot to see the surrounding area which is beautiful, although a car is not essential, as transfers could be arranged through Margaret. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment and would love to return again. Thanks again Margaret

Lovely Apartment

Exactly as described. Every thing you would need is there. Pool on your doorstep.

Had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back. Communication with Margaret was excellent and also with caretakers Allan and Samantha. A very good touch was the folder with all the information on how to get to supermarkets,bars and restaurants ect. Thanks very much for a great holiday.

Apartment up dating

The apartment needs up dating the glass doors don't open all the way,the shutters don't shut,no oven,but very clean,pool aera great safe

Owner's Response: The bi.fold doors are a lovely feature, however there is a correct way of opening them fully, and detailed instructions are in the welcome pack. If we know theirs a problem we can arrange for the housekeeper to go round and sort it. It also states there is no oven. in the contents section. We decorate throughout every year.The grills on the windows why difficult to operate, We are very secure with a tall arched gate to the patio. With that in mind we decided to remove them and replace with black out blinds. The windows still have vertical bars across them. We do our best to make our guest comfortable. We do care and we will take on board our guests comments. Bobby.
