This gorgeous custom log home just completed construction as of January 1, 2013. The beautiful slate floors, high vaulted ceilings, large windows, and state-of-the-art kitchen are just some of the high quality features. The great room has two-story windows to gaze at the white-capped mountains, stars, and beautiful views. The open concept of the great room, kitchen, dining area, and breakfast counter with a big screen LCD TV/DVD player makes this an ideal area for entertaining. Keep your car inside the attached 2-car garage for easy access in and out of the cabin. The home is tastefully decorated with Southwest décor, log accents and a pellet stove for warmth after that long day of skiing. The cabin is situated on the sunny side of Glacier Ridge so that you have views from every window in the home. The large wrap-around deck affords views of Colorado’s well known Fourteeners Lincoln, Bross and Democrat amongst the beautiful aspen, pine and massive blue sky of San Isabel National Forest. The Master Bedroom has a private balcony, queen bed and dressers, luxurious bath with rain shower head and big screen TV. Attached is the master loft with full length windows, couch with queen bed, sitting chairs, tables, desk, and telescope to view the crystal clear starry nights and mountain range. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, and windows admiring the views both west and east. The third bedroom located on the lower level has a bunk bed with a Full Size top & bottom mattress and is a great set-up for kids! All of the rooms are tastefully decorated with plenty of room and comfort for the entire family including the dog. The game room features a foos-ball table, bumper pool table and comfortable black leather sectional couch for an evening of fun. The roads are county maintained but 4-wheel drive is highly recommended due to the weather conditions in this area. As a vacation property, there is no comparison. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall there is always something for everyone or just sit back and enjoy the tranquility of your beautiful surroundings.
This rental was absolutely awesome. My kids and their friends were in awe of the place. The place was immaculate. We loved the quaint little town of Alma. It is 23 miles from Breckenride which was perfect. I would definitely come back here and would recommend it to anyone who decided to go to Colorado. Thanks again Tamara for everything.

Fantastic value, superb management, great centralized location and everything you need or want close by. Outstanding for families, fully furnished and a wonderful experience. We spent 7 days here and did not want to leave. If you enjoy family and Colorado this is your place. Climbed a mountain, saw a concert, toured Denver and went to RMNP-amazing.
Recommended with extreme enthusiasm.
We had a wonderful family vacation in this lovely mountain cabin. The location was quiet, the views beautiful and it felt private, yet not far off the highway. Our children and grand children enjoyed being on 3 acres. This was a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend this cabin and would definitely stay there again.
Thank you Tami for sharing your wonderful cabin with us. It was perfect in every way. You thought of everything we needed to make out stay so comfortable. 3 beds/baths was so nice. The house and grounds were immaculate. We are so appreciative for the last minute booking and allowing us all to bring our pets. No one wanted to leave!
This is a new, clean and well appointed home situated among Colorado 14ers, and within a 20 minute easy drive to Breckenridge. Although our trip centered around skiing and snowshoeing, this home is the ideal base for climbing, hiking, fishing, or cycling. The deck is perfect for cocktail hour and morning coffee. The game room was a hit with our adult kids, and with us. Pool tournament was a blast. We had 2 professional chefs with us, and we all found the kitchen well appointed and spacious. Beds were comfortable and rooms ideally furnished. Garage was great in that it accommodated a large truck with ski racks, and made unloading gear easy, with direct access into the house. We brought portable humidifiers for each room, which helped us all sleep comfortably at this altitude. Owners were responsive, friendly, and dependable. We will be back this summer to hike, climb, and paddle board. BTW- we have stayed at over 30 vacation rentals all over the country, and this home ranks in the top 5 for overall comfort, views, and amenities. A great time was had by all.....
All thumbs up. The house was in great shape and had everything we needed for a weekend away. Great location just off the main roads, but still felt secluded. Thanks so much for letting us use your home.
