Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Comfortable home. Not walking distance to the resort as some at stated on the reviews but easily accessible via shuttle that comes right outside. Also, note that this home does not provide firewood so will need to get before coming
This was a wonderful warm and comfortable cabin-like condo to come back to after a day of Skiing at Northstar.
My family stayed here in September after the summer season, which was perfect because it wasn't hot but the weather was perfect. The bathrooms had tubs so it was easy to give the little ones baths. It's a very welcoming, comfortable home and luckily there wasn't very much for the toddler to mess around with. The premium channels were nice to have on the TV so we didn't need to rent from the redbox, the only complaint I have is that the one of the beds has sunken in immensely, and it needs to be changed. However, the property manager sent detailed e-mails and any question I could have had was answered without needing to contact him. I would definitely stay here again, though I hope that mattress will at some point get changed.
Visiting in the off-season end-of-summer months was great since there were very few people vacationing then. The house had some issues (see below) but the overall experience was quite nice. For some of the cons: It's not walking distance to any shops and the location is a bit tricky finding. It took using my car nav to find the way for the first 3 nights. The appliances were dated and the fridge was turned down very low and all our meat spoiled for the first two nights there since it wasn't cold enough. The grill was not very useful and we had to cook our dinners in batches since there wasn't much room for food. One tank was empty and the second take had very little fuel in it so we had to use the oven the last two nights. This isn't property related but just a general comment; the bees were very active and we couldn't enjoy the balcony. And when we were grilling, we had to be brief or they would start swarming. I was really looking forward to chilling on the balcony with a book and drink but wasn't able to at all. But besides the drawbacks, it was an excellent time.
