Beautiful, immaculately refurbished, FULLY FURNISHED 1300 sq. ft 2 bedroom, 1 bath ECO rental located in one of Silverlake's best neighborhoods. Built in 1930, this spanish style duplex with tasteful/modern updates on the inside is the perfect space and has everything that you'll need for your stay in Los Angeles. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, six drawer dresser and walk in closet. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and walk in closet. Both walk in closets have plenty of hanging space as well as clothing and storage shelves. High thread count linens in both bedrooms. Beautiful, original hardwood floors throughout (except for master bedroom which has a neutral berber carpet). High end fire alarm system. Building has been bolted for earthquake reinforcement.

A short drive to Griffith park, Dodger Stadium, Elysian park, Echo Park, Atwater village, Sunset junction and Los Feliz village. 5 minute drive to farmer's makets, the greek theater, hiking trails, movie theaters, music clubs, bars and our local health food store. Only a 10 minute drive to, downtown LA, MOCA, Olvera St., China Town, Little Tokyo, Hollywood, Staples Center, Disney Hall, Universal Citywalk. ***This is the upper unit. The yard is a terraced backyard and the unit is two flights of stairs up from street level, so it is not suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. You would be sharing the backyard with a family who have two children. On site storage available for an extra fee.
We are open to renting the unit unfurnished or partially furnished for a 6 month rental or above.
This rental is cleaned by a green cleaning service using only non-toxic cleaning products. NON-SMOKING.
Occupancy tax will be added to final bill.
We are a professional family who have lived in the Silverlake area for over a decade. We love the neighborhood, which is beautiful, creative, and has a real sense of community. It has been a fantastic place to raise a family, as well as having been a supportive environment for our professions and projects.

When we first saw this 1930 duplex, it reminded us of another era in Los Angeles history, a time when the city was beginning to blossom - a romantic period in local history when the movie business had taken off and movie stars and film makers were centralized in Silverlake. The building's architecture is very romantic, which a cantilevered front balcony, private terraced backyard, and arched interior doorways and high wood beamed ceilings. It is a little oasis of creativity and privacy located only a few minutes walk from the bustling heart of Silverlake.
We fell in love with the lightness throughout the duplex, the incredible views, which are somewhat rare in Los Angeles, and the central yet private location and it's proximity to anything your trip requires, from great restaurants and unique shops to beautiful hikes.
Stayed here for a month with my family (two adults, one toddler, one baby) and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Not only was the place as described, Shandra and Eric even added little finishing touches (Stumptown coffee, chocolate, wine, yogurt) that made us feel happy and welcome. Couldn't have asked for more during out time there.
If you are looking for a family-friendly apartment that is comparable to any four-star property, this is the place for you! Eric and Shandra have gone out of their way to include many features to delight their guests, such as: an espresso machine, a soda stream, down comforters and comfy beds, beautifully decorated and open living areas, a desk with printer, and gorgeous bathrooms. The apartment is conveniently located in the amazing neighborhood of Silverlake, known for its views of the snow-capped mountains on this side of the neighborhood, and its proximity to the 4300 acre Griffith Park.
While you're in Silverlake, don't miss the special offerings of Sunset Junction and beyond! First, be sure to have coffee at Intelligentsia! Then, be wowed at any of the following: Forage, The Alcove, Stella's Bar and Cafe, Mixto's(trust me) and Lamil. There are many amazing groceries to choose from and we made use of all of them. They included: Trader Joe's-great produce, Gelson's-high end meat choices, Ralph's-amazing discounts on liquor, Von's-everything else. We also loved the local flower shop, Clementine's. They were friendly and creative to work with.
We love L.A., and we highly recommend this Beautiful Spacious Rental in Silverlake for its central location, amazing amenities, cleanliness, and the hospitality of its owners. There is NO comparison in quality for the price!
We loved staying at this property not only because it was beautiful and spacious, but because in was in Silverlake. That is one of our favorite neighborhoods! This house has a wonderful territorial view, a pleasant back yard and a very well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfy too!
I highly recommend this home for your stay in LA. The owner is so gracious and accommodating. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home will certainly be our first pick the next time we are in LA.
