We are native Atlantans and have been vacationing at Sea Island for over 60 yrs. We love this place! St. Simons Island is nearby with plenty of affordable eating places. This lovely resort is 300 miles from Atlanta, but we still find time to go there every month to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. This is our home away from home. And who else can throw a party or schedule exciting events to enjoy like the folks at Sea Island Resort. Tons of daily activities are available for you and your family.

We have owned this home for over 20 years. It is our family's vacation paradise and is in the IDEAL location for any activity on Sea Island. Only 2 blocks to the Cloister Hotel, Beach Club, Atlantic ocean & beach, and Sea Island Spa and Tennis Center. Ride a bicycle or walk everywhere you want to go, even to St. Simons Island. This is the cleanest and safest beach in the southeast. Our children grew up here and our daughter got married here. What a special place this is for us. Sea Island is protected with a security gatehouse with guard for your vacation privacy. Car passes are required. We will get that for your visit.
What makes this House unique
We ride bicycles to everything we do while there because of our great location. The terrain is flat and no hills to climb.In fact we provide 10 adult bikes FREE for your use.The back yard is manicured grass, private, secluded, level, and roomy with a shaded hammock for relaxation. A well lit, spacious terrace/patio with chairs, umbrella table, and padded chaise lounge is available for evening and daytime events. The table with umbrella protects you from the sun or rain and is a perfect place to have a meal. Cook steaks on the Weber charcoal grille or sit by the portable, patio fire pit in the evening.You are only 2 blocks from the Cloister Hotel and Beach Club. In fact, you can see the Cloister Hotel from our driveway. There are 2 driveway entrances to our home and covered parking. You can hear the ocean from the outside. Cook in grand style in the newly renovated kitchen.

Gorgeous and spacious. Exceeded expectations!
The home is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room; plenty of parking. The kitchen is fabulous! The area is very quiet making it very easy to relax. From this home, it is 10 minutes to everywhere. We could walk to the Cloister in just a few minutes. Very nice and exceeded our expectations. I'd highly recommend this home. We will definitely do this again.

Cottage 200 is just what we needed for our stay...convenient to the Cloister and the Beach Club, comfortable in every way, beautiful and well-equipped kitchen and living space and the owners and manager were very pleasant and responsive. We were very satisfied and hope to visit again!
Our stay in Cottage 200
Our overall experience in Cottage 200 this summer was very good. Upon arrival, the Cottage was clean and ready for our moving in. The Cottage works very well for our large family, with 4 bedrooms downstairs and the large upstairs bedroom that allows plenty of room for 5 of our granddaughters. We really appreciate the close proximity of the Cottage to all the amenities at the Cloister and the Beach Club, all within walking distance. Also, the availability of the bikes provided by the owner is a very nice feature.
I would highly recommend this Cottage to other families or couples who want to be close to the resort amenities and also desire a well maintained place to stay.

Our family loves vacationing in Sea Island and staying at the Edward’s home on 229 West Fifth Street! This is our third year and once again our family had a wonderful time. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The house is a beautifully decorated, well laid out, comfortable house for our family to use. The kitchen has recently been updated and is a great gathering place. We enjoyed riding the bicycles that are provided, grilling on the private back patio, and reading in the hammock. The beach is only two blocks away. The owner is extremely accommodating and a joy to work with. I always recommend this place to friends who are planning a trip to Sea Island. It’s a winner!
We again very much enjoyed Cottage 200 for our family vacation in June. The proximity to all Sea Island amenities is very appealing plus the numerous bikes available for adults and kids. The renovation of the kitchen was also very nice with updated appliances and more space for meal preparation. Overall, a great house for a large family that plans to use the Beach Club most everyday.
