About JoDee Burton or Hughes Burton
We both are in love with the Fancy Gap slow pace and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. This is an incredible place to visit or live, with the Blue Ridge Parkway within sight. Lots of rivers and creeks for fishing, wineries, the wonderful weather and mountain breezes

Why JoDee Burton or Hughes Burton chose Fancy Gap
We love fishing, golf, riding our motorcycles on the BRPW. This area just slows your heart rate down! The trout fishing is great, with stocked creeks and rivers nearby. The weather is incredible with a constant breeze and your not fighting the insects while doing outdoor activities.
What makes this Cabin unique
The Blue Ridge Parkway is within sight of the cabins and the peacefulness has no comparison. We do have motorcycle parking, and are at a halfway point so our guests can travel the whole BRPW. The location is wonderful, hiking is phenomenal and plentiful, fishing on the New River, touring the fun breweries in Mt. Airy, and more.

This was our second stay at “Time to Unwine.” It did not disappoint, from fishing in the pond, catching a 5 pound bass to enjoying the views. At night we would sit in the hot tub and enjoy a glass of wine! The owner is very responsive within minutes. I would for sure recommend this place to anyone, you will not be disappointed!
Absolutely beautiful place
Absolutely beautiful place would recommend this place to anybody that wants to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway on a motorcycle or car or just watch a nice peaceful quiet place to vacation and relax place is very beautiful had no complaints everything was as it should be hopefully be coming back next year
It was an awesome stop on our way home from our trip to Florida.
We truly had a wonderful time just relaxing, enjoying the view and watching all of the amazing birds and deer.
It made our trip than much more perfect.
Great Family Getaway
We enjoyed our family getaway at It's Unwine Cabin. Location was ideal. We were a little surprised how close some of the neighboring cabins were but it did not impact our privacy or our stay. JoDee was very responsive and helpful with any requests. The cabin was very cute and comfortable for our family of four and our four legged friend. The gated porch is a great feature. There is plenty of open space for games and relaxing. We had s'mores at a campfire and grilled on the charcoal grill each night. Check-in and check-out was very simple and easy. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend "It's Time to Unwine"
Very cozy and relaxing stay
This cozy cabin was just what the doctor ordered set in the middle of beautiful rolling hills the stress of city living disappears. The couch and bed were comfortable and the full kitchen made some wonderful meals for my wife and I. I won't take a star from my review but be forewarned there is nearly no cell signal and the wifi is spotty at best, if there is rain in the forecast be sure to bring something to do, there are a few dvds and board games in the cabin but we needed to go out and buy more movies. All in all I really loved my stay here the stars at night were breath taking, even sitting on the porch swing during the rain was enjoyable.
MASTER BEDROOM NEEDS DARKER DRAPES.
This is a convenient short drive from the triad area of N.C. and the views/outdoor activities are phenomenal. Hiking, biking, relaxing, and enjoying the 'quiet.' Numerous wineries, cherry, apple orchards, peach orchards, and quaint shops; your blood pressure lowers as your driving up the mountain to reach your destination. Mt. Airy, best known as 'Mayberry', is a 15 minute drive down Orchard Gap rd which takes you right into downtown. Visit the museum, have a Snappys Porkchop sandwich and please visit Floyds Barbershop!
The hiking is phenomenal near the cabin with views, caves, water falls and cliffs. There is horseback riding on New River Trail at Foster Falls. Take a picnic lunch, ride the trail on horseback or your bike, and then go down the falls in a kayak or canoe. The fishing is great for walleye, musky and small mouth bass, along with the trout stocked streams and creeks in the area as well.
