Enjoy your stay in this exclusive 37-acre gated community on the bay side. There is a large outdoor pool, walking/ jogging paths, interactive fountain for the kids and 3 private beaches on Sunset Island. The community has a general store, clubhouse, fitness center, indoor pool and café that overlooks both the pool and bay for great sunset views. There is a two block walk to the beach.
Our townhouse features 3 decks on the front of the house with a private balcony on the 4th floor. The first floor features a private den with french doors and has a Queen bed and ceiling fan. A full bath with shower is located on the floor across from the den. A separate laundry room containing a standard washer and dryer are located on this floor as well.
The second floor consists of the living room, kitchen and morning room. Relax in any of these rooms after a long day at the beach. There is a door to the 2nd floor deck off of the living room. The kitchen area features a large table to enjoy your family meals. The kitchen features a double oven, cook-top range, and large side by side refrigerator freezer with ice maker and water dispenser. The kitchen features an island with granite tops throughout. A separate powder room is located on this floor as well.
The third floor brings you to tthree separate bedrooms. One room has a bunk bed consisting of a full bed on the bottom and twin on top. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both rooms have separate doors that will take you to a deck overlooking the bay. There is also a full bath with shower and tub. The third bedroom on this floor is a master bedroom that features a king size bed, a large walk-in closet, and ceiling fan. This room has a separate master bath, complete with soaking tub, two separate sinks, a glass enclosed shower and private area with a door and toilet.
The fourth floor features a second master bedroom with a king size bed, ceiling fan and a separate full bath. A fourth balcony is located off the bedroom via sliding glass door.
An enclosed outdoor shower is right off of the two car garage in the back of the unit.
You must be 25 years of age to sign the lease. No senior weeks.
We purchased this unit when this gorgeous community was built. We have spent many weekends and long holidays weeks with our family enjoying the amenities Sunset Island and Ocean City has to offer. When our children were younger, they enjoyed the fishing pier, bayside beach area, and fountains. (To name a few!) As they got older, they worked at the community restaurant at the pool! Unfortunately due to our family's schedule this summer, we are unable to spend a lot of time at our favorite spot! We hope you are able to enjoy time with your family and make it your home while you are in OC!

Sunset Island provides a variety of options in a secluded gated community. Beautiful view of the bay from 2 decks located towards the west end of the development.
This was our fourth stay in Sunset Island, 4Adults and 4Kids ages 12, 11, 10,8..This townhouse was by far our favorite! Best location with Bay view from deck, and really nice location to the pool. The decor was beautiful, very islandy..You could tell the owners put a lot of thought into decor and upgrades..The layout was perfect for our families..Bedrooms were perfect for our 2 boys and 2 girls.The owners were super nice and made reserving their home so simple..I did everything on line. We hope to be able to stay here again next year ..Sunset Island has become a little family tradition and a great way to start our summer vacation..Definitely recommend this townhome!
We cannot say enough about how great our stay was. The house is perfectly located in a section where it's family friendly. We stayed during high school senior week and were able to avoid most of the rif raf.Awesome view from the main floor balcony. walking distance to plenty of food. great pool and beach for the kids. GREAT communication from the owner. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in OC.
