Super Convenient first floor unit eliminates the time spent hauling gear up and down the stairs and maximizes time on the slopes or in front of the true wood burning fire place.
We are a Colorado family that appreciates sharing all that our beautiful Summit County has to offer. This is our mountain home that we use frequently with several generations of our family.
John Sollenberger purchased this condo in 2012
The Pines at Keystone is the perfect mix of amenities of a modern resort and the coziness of a mountain cabin. Our condo unit looks out onto the woods toward the Snake River. It also is very close to the shuttle stop for the mountain and the large swimming pool building that is a part of our association.
2043 Bristlecone is the largest main floor 3 bedroom unit in The Pines at Keystone (1657 sq. ft.). Have the convenience of fewer stairs with the benefit that all of the sleeping areas are single story and do not have other condo space above them. Enjoy the deep wide deck that looks onto the wooded view after a great day at Keystone or another Summit County resort.
Our combined family of 10 was very comfortable in this condo. There were beds for everyone, and we didn't even use the pullout couch. The kitchen was super-stocked with everything we needed - pots & pans, dishes, utensils and supplies. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of hang-out space for everyone. We really felt at home. The bus stop was just a short walk across the road to the parking lot for easy access to the slopes. No check-in/out hassle either - easy peasy. The one and only minor complaint we had was the shortage of hot water - there was usually only enough for 2-3 showers and there were 10 of us. But the place was awesome otherwise and we would definitely stay there again!
You can really tell how much the owners care about the comfort of their guests...so many cozy touches and great amenities that are often lacking at corporate rental properties. The master bed was so comfortable, I couldn't wait to snuggle in there each night. There are cozy little lamps everywhere, throw blankets, good pillows, a great game table and fun games we had never played before. Spices in the kitchen cabinet, plastic wrap, plenty of kitchen towels, and you could even find a sharp knife. A cute stuffed black bear greeted us when we arrived, propped up in one of the dining room chairs. My son loved it! We've stayed most everywhere in Keystone, and this really is one of our favorites. We love the Pines...you kind of feel like you're in a campground. The indoor pool and huge hot tubs are great. We hope to be back again. Thank you, John!
Beautiful and spacious condo that was very accommodating to our group of 10 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location is terrific. We will definitely be going back!
The condo we stayed in over Easter weekend was amazing. Roomy for all of us to stay, everyone had their own bed and the kids all loved staying in the bunk beds together. The condo was well stocked and we really appreciated having a stocked spice cabinet and really just everything that helped make our stay easy and enjoyable. We would definitely come back to this condo again. The pool was also great and a quick walk to get to it. Thanks so much!!!
Things we skiers loved: 1st floor - no stairs to climb, ski locker, close proximity to the bus but in a quiet and beautiful area with a nice view, floor plan (someone mentioned that the kitchen was a little small but then we all said we would much rather have the super comfortable living room space this condo has rather than a bigger KIT (we were comfortable eating at the dining table and lounging in the living room with 12 people around), and an owner who was responsive and professional. We were constantly amazed with the little extras/"Easter eggs" we had in this condo including games, starters and logs in the fireplace, throw blankets, tons of cookware and dishes, and more. I highly recommend this place and may come back in another season!
