Located on the beautiful coastline of Costa Paradiso, Sardinia, Casa Maya boasts spectacular sea views, a large swimming pool set within a landscaped garden and 1,000 sqm of private land.
A detached villa, it is just 1km from the local beaches, and 1.5km from the beautiful beach of Li Cossi, as well as under 1km from the local shops and restaurants and benefits from 3 private car parking spaces.
Recently renovated, there is luxury and modern décor throughout and the villa is very bright and cool in the summer time, and also benefits from air-conditioning in every room, aside from the new cool and airy fourth bedroom.
There are 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 1 twin room, three of which have access to terraces with sea views, as well as three bathrooms, including two en-suite bathrooms. We offer the villa for rental as a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom or 4 bedroom/3 bathroom.
The newly installed kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, coffee maker and utensils. There is also a utility area with washing machine.
Next to the kitchen there is a good sized dining area that is raised to benefit from the beautiful lush green and sea views from the large, folding glass doors in the lounge.
From the large double living area, beautiful large clear glass concertina doors lead to a large 22 sqm sheltered terrace and outdoor alfresco dining area, with comfortable wooden table and chairs for up to 8 people, which is perfect for enjoying the local food and watching the sensational sunset.
Steps from the sheltered terrace lead down to the large pool terrace and swimming pool (50 sqm), equipped with sun loungers and stunning views over the village and sea.
Costa Paradiso facilities: Costa Paradiso is a private community that maintains its own roads and facilities, consequently it is very clean and well organised. Within the centre you will find a choice of supermarkets, gift shops, as well as an excellent fish mongers, butchers and fresh produce shops. There is an on site medical centre available to residents (May to September). Costa Paradiso also has its own secluded beach, Li Cossi, which can be accessed by a short walk along the headland from the dive school. This delightful cove is well worth the visit. There is a tennis club in Costa Paradiso which residents are able to join during their holiday. There are various courts here and swimming pools and also evening entertainment. Costa Paradiso has its own dive school which is bookable locally. You can also take boat trips from here.
As Costa Paradiso is primarily a holiday village most shops and restaurants are open seasonally (June - September) however May is especially beautiful in Sardinia for the array of wild flowers and ideal climate for walking holidays. The snack bars are open all year round and nearby Valledoria (20 mins drive) provides a large supermarket for out of season visitors. There is also a good supermarket at Badesi on the main road towards Alghero (approx 20 mins drive). There are also fresh food markets in the following surrounding areas all year round, these are definitely worth visiting; Santa Teresa - Wednesday (20 minutes drive), Trinita - Friday (10 minutes drive) and Valledoria - Saturday (20 minutes drive).
Spacious comfortable, home-from-home villa with easily enough space for our party (two families of 4). Quietly situated with a great private pool that the kids spent hours in! Great amenities for home cooking and close to some great local restaurants for nights out. Can't fault it!
We were two families with little children under 6, and we shared this villa for a week early May. The resort was pretty quiet as we travelled out of season but that meant the beaches were virtually empty. We had a mixture of rain and good hot weather. The only down side to going out of season was that the pool was unusable as it was just too cold, especially for the children. Unheated and having not had a hot spring it had not had time to be heated by the sun. Other than that however the villa was perfect. Enough bedrooms for us all and living space and still plenty of space outside for the children to run around. It was very clean and suited our needs with small children.
I would definitely come back to this region, with its stunning beaches and scenery. It's difficult for me to comment on the resort, as we were out of season there was not much open, nor many people about, which suited us just fine.
All contact with Jackson was polite, efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this villa and would happily go back there again.
What a great experience! Jackson was a pleasure to work with during the booking process and his on-site rep was great, making for an easy entry and departure. The villa was very clean, modern, well appointed and the air conditioning was a bonus in July! The patio and private pool were the absolute best particularly with the beach being a good 25 min. walk. The way each villa is located, gives you a sense of isolation. There are lots of good restaurants, bars and shops in the complex and a few miles north is a wonderful little town where the seafood is to die for. If you are looking for a villa in Sardinia, the is the one!
We stayed for one week during this off-season time at Costa Paradiso with four adults and four children (11-15 years old). The villa is located on top of the hill with a great view over the coast line and to the sea. The pool is fantastic, just a little bit too cold, but this is obvious in October. Kitchen and rooms are well equipped and everything was in very good shape. Ants and wasps are a little bit annoying, however this is nature and nothing really to complain. In total we had two of seven days rain (tours to Castelsardo and Santa Teresa) and the other days we could go to the empty beach and we made a boatstour. For us it was a great vacation with enough time to relax and we can definetly recommend this property. A car is a must and during that time of the year you have to be aware to drive quite some distance to find different shops or restaurants. The season ends in Costa Paradiso by end of September. Finally I can say that the communication and organization via email was really fast and well done by Jackson. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at the Villa in Costa Paradiso. The Villa was great and exactly as it can be seen on the pictures. We were 4 adults and 3 children and did find enough space and privacy for all of us.
The resort was very quite as we travelled outside of the main season and many restaurants and supermarkets were already closed. However we did find all we need in the ones that were still open.
We can definitely recommend the villa and might come back to this place again.
Situated on the north coast of Sardinia between Castelsardo and Santa Theresa di Gallura, Costa Paradiso is found along the coast road that runs along the north coast of Sardinia, a few kilometers from the junction to Isola Rossa and about 12 km south of the resort of Portobello.
Costa Paradiso is a private community known for the wildness of its land, beautiful granite rock formations and for the beauty of the Sardinian crystalline sea, bordered by sandy coves and beaches.
The villas in Costa Paradiso have been designed to fit in with the natural landscape and the majority benefit from stunning sea views.
Costa Paradiso is a holiday village, with many facilities and amenities, situated approx. 25 minutes drive from Isola Rossa (a peaceful beach town) and from Trinita D’agultu (a typical Sardinian mountain village), where there is an all-year market every Monday.
The best local beach in Costa Paradiso, Li Cossi, is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Sardinia and can be accessed by a short walk along the headland from the dive school.
Also discover the nearby beaches of Costa Tinnari (a stunning double arch shaped beach with rock walls) and La Marineda (stunning sandy beach with restaurant facilities and water sports).
In Costa Paradiso you will find restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops, as well as entertainment with disco and piano bar, tennis courts, water sports, such as surfing, sailing and diving.
Ideally located for both airports, Costa Paradiso is a short drive from Alghero (Ryanair) and Olbia (Easy Jet), the journey takes about 90 minutes by car, along panoramic coastal roads, and when you arrive - find yourself in a true paradise.
