This is a luxurious custom home built by one of the areas premier home builders, in a private upscale neighborhood, near the Tunica casinos and centrally located to all the Memphis area attractions. Wild life is abundant in the area, and you are only minutes from the city, but light years away in quality of life and good clean quiet country living. The home is minutes away from the Tunica Casinos, and 24 hr non stop gambling, entertainment, and numerous casino restaurants and bars. I have been buying, selling, financing properties in Desoto County, Ms since 1994 when they built and opened the first Casinos in the area. I have also been renting properties since that time, specializing in renting lake front properties. However, I am new to the vacation rental business. I feel that since my properties are like being on vacation all of the time, then getting in to the vacation rental business was a no brainer. I'm disgusted with the review below me. This is a wonderful lakehouse 18 mins from Memphis, TN!!! Owner had the house stocked with every essential I could think of from seasonings to laundry detergent. The home had an extensive loft where you could read an view the lake, it was so peaceful and serene. Mr. Poe is very helpful and would cater to any need we requested without hesitation. I will most definitely stay again and suggest anyone with a group of 5 or more to stay here!! Luxury on a budget!
We had an excellent stay at your beautiful home for our family reunion. The beds were outstanding... very comfortable. We enjoyed the great room in the evenings as a gathering place to sit and relax. The leather sofas recline and are very comfortable. The huge dining room accommodated all of us and was very pleasant. The master suite was huge and comfortable with a huge bath and walk in closet. The location of the property was great. Close to many attractions but quiet and relaxing on the beautiful lake. I would highly recommend anyone who is having a family reunion to consider this property.
While the house sits in a beautiful quiet area with plenty of beautiful scenery I was disappointed in a couple of things. Thank God all 14 of my lovely friends know how to have a great time.
When we arrived the grass was not cut. This not s huge deal but tall grass and little furry animals do not make a great vacation. Their was so many windows which would have been perfect except they had so much dirt and grime it it blocked the view. This house sits on a large lake that appears so inviting. We told not use the entrance to the on the right of the house it belonged to the neighbors. No problem. We were told by the owner to use the public entry. We walked down and around only to see a sign that says no trespassing.
This dish washer does not work. The wet bar and wine refrigerator does not work. The ice machine inside the freezer does not work. There are 4 bedrooms.
1 master with a king bed we got 3 people in that bed
3 bedrooms up stairs, 2 of which have double beds.
We spoke yo the owner about repairs or things that did not meet our approval. He did go get ice and when we called the 2nd time he blew us off. When I go on vacation I understand things will not always be as I imagine them. One thing for sure is I am not cool with washing dishes. Had I known the ice maker, dish washer and the lake was not available I would have picked a different house and spent the extra money. #GGAWEEKEND WE TRAVEL OFTEN.
There were 3 families that shared this house and there was more than enough room for everyone. We only had one issue but it had zero effect on our stay. I called at the end to make him aware and he apologized right away. We will definitely be rebooking this rental!
My family and I stayed in this home right before Christmas. I was a little worried because of some of the poor reviews that had been left about the house. I am so glad to share that this was not the case with our stay. The house was clean and was a perfect size for our family. The only problem we had with our stay is that the oven didn't work. We called the owner and he sent someone over to take a look at it. When the repairman couldn't fix it, the landlord bought a brand new stove and had it installed the following day. We were so relieved and grateful that he addressed and fixed the issue. We were able to prepare our Christmas dinner and celebrate with my niece who we were visiting and is a patient at St Jude's. The lake is an added bonus. The kids enjoyed fishing in the backyard and at the community private lake. We didn't catch anything but fun was had by all. I would recommend this home for families with children.

This house is ideally located 10 min from the Tunica Casinos, 20 min from Beale Street, Mud Island, Fed Ex Forum and Downtown Memphis, 20 min from Graceland and Memphis International Airport, 25 min from St. Jude and Memphis and Desoto area hospitals...60 min from Oxford, and Ole Miss campus...Ideal for Insurance companies who might need a large furnished home short time for fire or flood victims. This is a large house that can comfortably sleep and accomodate 10 persons, and under certain pre-arranged circumstances can sleep up to 16 adults comfortably. This is a very large, modestly priced house with all the ammenities, but requires a 3 night minimum stay. The base rate of only $300.00 per night includes up to six persons. An additional charge of $25.00 per day per person will apply, including children....
