Hi, my name is Doreen and I was raised in this very home. I currently live in the upper apartment and take great pride in opening my home for families in order for them to feel all the comforts of home while experiencing our beautiful Region.
Why Doreen chose Niagara Falls
The home was designed as a vacation home in memory of my Dear Aunt, who always put the needs and comfort of others her top priority. The home has many items throughout that will give you the feeling of a loving, comfortable home.
What makes this Apartment unique

Loved everything about the rental
Doreen and Tony are wonderful. Very helpful and there if you need anything. They live upstairs but you wouldn't even know they are there unless you needed something. The neighborhood is clean and comfortable. We felt very safe and would rent again. It's close enough to the falls and boarder. Pretty much a direct route. I can't thank you enough..
Nice home , safe neighbourhood
This is a very clean and well maintained property . Doreen and Tony were excellent hosts. We had a comfortable stay at their place. We felt the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We could park our vehicle right in front of their home and Tony was always available help. Overall we had an excellent time there.
Wonderful Cozy Home
This home is a wonderful option for families and close friends. The owners are super friendly and they have great information about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay there again when we return to the area.
We definitely enjoyed our stay. Doreen and Tony were amazing and super friendly. The home is very cozy and it provided us exactly what we were looking for. The location of the house was also very important. Just a couple minutes drive from the falls and everything else you need (Walgreens, gas, etc). All said and done we’d gladly stay here again. Thanks!
Warm, cozy and inviting
We felt very at home in this rental and highly recommend it for couples or families visiting the Niagara area. We were literally within minutes of all of the tourist areas and the Canadian border. The home is inviting with its decor and had all the amenities of home. We slept our family of 5 very comfortably. We got great tips from the owners on where to go, and even a loaf of bread from the local bakery :) My only small critique was the wifi was not as strong in the back of the rental as it is in the front of the home.
Thank You for kind review.
We are Happy to hear that you appreciated our Lovely Home.
We will look into the WiFi issue, sorry it was a problem.
We hope to see you again.
Doreen n Tony
Nice quiet neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the falls. Perfect for our family. Nice antique charm.
Doreen and Tony both very nice people and very accommodating. The house was cozy and we felt right at home. We loved having the living room space and large dining table that we all fit around. We did miss a second bathroom, but that was minor considering the location close to the falls. Tony and Doreen live on the second floor of this home, so it was reassuring to know that they lived there yet, making us feel like we were in a safer area than others. (I had read differernt reviews where people did not feel safe in other rentals). The house was very clean, no bugs, and no smoking allowed which we were grateful for. This is an older home built in the 1920's and it is decorated accordingly with the antique lamps, furniture, pictures, and other decorations. This is the house Doreen was raised in and you can tell she takes great pride in it. It reminded me of where I grew up. The kitchen had everything we needed. Airconditioned (which we needed surprisingly in Sept!) Dishwasher. Coffee maker, etc. This house sleeps 6, but if you have a couple of families, Doreen has another house on the same block a few doors down that she also rents out. FYI. I think that is good to know for bigger groups. Like I said, they were easy to work with, very accommodating, and I would think she takes just as good of care of the other house as she does this one. We would stay again and if we bring more families with us, we would try and rent the other house so we would be close together and not have to rent a bunch of hotel rooms. There was a tiny fenced in back yard that we had no time to use, since there is so much to do in Niagra Falls. We did grill one afternoon while grandchildren napped though. Tony and Doreen both offered great information about the area. They were very friendly and genuinely nice people. We did take them up on several suggestions including dining at the "Bakery", one of their favorite places and the food was awesome and affordable too! If you're not into the antiques and older home feel, this house is not for you, but if you prefer antiques and that warm, fuzzy feeling, and everyone close together, this is a good place for you. Bedrooms where small as they are in older homes, but we slept wonderfully. The neighborhood was quiet, and I loved all her flowers and bushes out front while I sat on the porch relaxing, looking out to the street in the mornings and the few evenings we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Betty, Mark, family. Iowa
