About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice place to stay

 • 4 of 5

Besides a few things like the bbq not lighting correctly and the beds being rock hard this was a nice staging area for outdoor fun.

Great house, very spacious! Came here with a group of 5. Loved having a grill and fire pit for meals outside. Living area was very accommodating. Bathrooms were also very nice and clean!

Fantastic Property-Will Definitely Be Back!

 • 5 of 5

Such a great property!

We were up skiing/snowboarding at Timberline and this was only about 35 min away-I'd definitely stay here again. Very comfortable for 3 adults and could have easily entertained 6 or 7.

Home has all of the amenities; a great hot tub; peaceful, forested, fenced back yard; horseshoes and little private areas scattered throughout; the large, comfortable couch was perfect for evening movies (and lazy days); lots of DVD's and Wii games; lots of board games in the back room; open kitchen with everything you could ask for; nice, large dining room table; wifi for working (unfortunately); and little stores for everything else you'd need just a few minutes away. We didn't make it to the community pool but it looked great and was just a short walk from the house.

Be sure to introduce yourselves to the next door neighbors, Samantha and Andy, they're really nice and made us feel very welcome.

Highly recommended!

Large House in very good condition. Nice neighbourhood. We were here with two Teenagers during a hot summer. Enjoyed Trillium Lake for swimming, and the Pool.

Outdoorsmanship!

 • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the Mountain Meadow Lodge. Seven of us stayed in the house, and there was actually room for a few more. The open living room and large kitchen were great. I was a big fan of the ceiling fans and humungous couch. There were also a couple of A/C units available, but the weather was so nice we didn't need them. We BBQ'd most nights but we were surprised to see several restaurants and a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. The neighborhood amenities were really nice. Loved the basketball court surrounded by trees and access to the Sandy river. There are several lakes and hiking trails nearby with incredible views of Mt Hood. We especially liked Trillium Lake and the Munra Point hike. The hot tub was fantastic after a long hike. If you love outdoorsmanship, Mountain Meadow Lodge wins the championship.
