About Perry & Christine

We were born and raised in St. Helena and this is our first home we purchased after we were married in 2010. We spent the first two years we owned it renovating it and are thrilled with how it came out. This is our primary home, and we also have a cottage we share our time at too. Perry is a winemaker in the valley and Christine is a Registered Dietitian. We welcomed our first baby boy, Hunter in August 2013 and second baby boy, Sawyer in October 2015. We are excited to share our home and town with you!

Perry & Christine purchased this house in 2011

Why Perry & Christine chose Napa Valley

We bought this home because of the distance to main street. We love being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops and not worry about driving. We also have a property in the country so we felt that this was the best of both worlds!

What makes this house unique

The best part of this house is its charm. It was built in 1880 and has stood the test of time. We have spent the last two years making it a comfortable, cozy fun place to be. This house is only one block from main street where everything is in St. Helena, making it a blast to stay at.

Incredible Farm House!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment you drive up to this adorable St Helena farm house you feel at home. We had three couples which worked well with the three rooms. Each couple had their own bathroom which is nice. We had fun in the kitchen and it is stocked with everything you could think of. The living room is a comfy place to hang, but our favorite place was the front porch. Coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening... what could be better. Also, the owners are amazing... quick response to any question... We will be back !!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your sweet review, Nancy! It was a pleasure having you and your family to our house. We also love having coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon on the porch- such a fun place to hang out. We would love to have you back anytime.

The Best Way to Experience Napa Valley

  • 5 of 5

Prior to booking I did a lot of research and the time proved to be well spent. This is a tremendous property and location for a visit to Napa Valley. The house is quaint, well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed every moment spent at the house including the great front porch and backyard with grill that was perfect for holding our own small private wine tasting. Dotted with a tiny vineyard, lime tree, olive trees and flowers the yard attracts hummingbirds and honeybees each morning. Located just a block from St. Helena’s main street, everything is within walking distance including the fabulous Sunshine Market and Model Bakery. So much better than staying at a hotel and I am unable to think of even one suggestion to improve the experience.

Communications with the owner’s was perfect and don’t forget to schedule a tasting at Amizetta which will likely be the highlight of your winery visit experiences. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We absolutely loved hosting you and your family. Having you up to the winery was a highlight. It is so much fun getting to meet our Church Street guests and we loved getting to know your family during the tour. Hope you all enjoy your wine and please come back and visit soon!

Location, Location, Location

  • 5 of 5

Spent 5 days at this beautiful home. The location is fantastic and is within a couple of blocks of "downtown" St. Helena that has some great little shops, stores and a slew of fantastic places to eat. Mid week was nice, as it was not as crowded as the weekends normally are. The neighborhoods surrounding downtown have some beautiful homes and make for a great walk after a big meal. Even some wine tasting rooms are within easy walking distance (almost to close - haha).

The house itself is well equipped with all that you need (plates, utensils, glassware, pots, pans and BBQ). A decent pantry for your use is also on hand. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable. A great porch to sit on and relax and a nice backyard with picnic table, chairs and umbrellas. Be sure to read your rental agreement as some basic toiletries are not provided.

Only downside was that the sofa in the living room was a little worn and the glass door in the master bath was a little dirty. These were relatively minor in nature.

The hostess Christine is very accommodating and a nice person to work with. We would highly recommend this rental to all.

We absolutely loved this house! Charm and comfort everywhere. Great front porch and a lovely backyard making for fun gatherings. Our son's wedding was within walking distance at the Farmstead which made everything so much easier! Hosts went way beyond what was necessary and we were so appreciative. We highly recommend this as your next place to stay in St Helena!

Charming house right off St. Helena's main street

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend this property. My husband and I, plus two other couples, rented it while we were in Napa for a wedding. The house is just adorable - drool worthy! Everything is new and very clean. Just one block off St. Helena's main street, it is within walking distance of many great restaurants (and Safeway if you want to cook in the well-appointed kitchen). St. Helena is an adorable town with many vineyards and wineries close by. We loved having pastries and coffee on the front porch while overlooking the rows of vines in the front yard, and even enjoyed some fruit from the trees. Don't hesitate to book this property - you won't be disappointed.
