About the property

4 Bed/4 Bath Farm House One Block From Main Street

Our two-story farm house is one block from Main Street in downtown St. Helena. This amazing location offers guests direct access to all the great tastings rooms, restaurants and shopping in downtown St. Helena while having all the luxuries of being in a cozy fully equipped home. Our house was originally built in 1881 and recently renovated by us in 2013. It has all new appliances, bathrooms and a wonderful world class kitchen. We have central heat/air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs. The main house consists of three bedrooms-there are two bedrooms upstairs with queen beds; both have attached bathrooms with walk in carrara marble showers. The third bedroom is downstairs with a queen bed and an attached recently (2017) updated bathroom. The 4th bedroom is a detached unit a stones throw away from the main house that has a California King bed, a bathroom and a small kitchenette. Our main kitchen has an 8 burner gas range stove with griddle, copper apron sink, butcher block island, all new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. We have a family room with a 55-inch television and couches to fit at least 8 people. We have a formal dining room that seats up to 8 comfortably. We also have a laundry/mud room. Our porch lines our entire front yard and has rocker chairs and tables for hours of people/train watching, card games, cocktails or take a (very) short stroll through the vineyard! Enjoy a glass of wine on our porch while watching the wine train go by! There is also a large back yard with plenty of parking and an outdoor kitchen next to a bocce court.

**We are happy to rent the main house only for a lesser fee. We do not rent the detached granny unit/4th bedrooms without also renting the main house.

***Please note that we normally require a 3 night minimum but occasionally will honor a 2 night stay dependent on group size and time of year.

About Perry & Christine Clark

We were born and raised in St. Helena and this is our first home we purchased after we were married in 2010. We spent the first two years we owned it renovating it and are thrilled with how it came out. This is our primary home, and we also have a cottage we share our time at too. Perry is a winemaker in the valley and Christine is a Registered Dietitian. We welcomed our first baby boy, Hunter in August 2013 and second baby boy, Sawyer in October 2015. We are excited to share our home and town with you!

We bought this home because of the distance to main street. We love being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops and not worry about driving. We also have a property in the country so we felt that this was the best of both worlds!

What makes this house unique

The best part of this house is its charm. It was built in 1880 and has stood the test of time. We have spent the last two years making it a comfortable, cozy fun place to be. This house is only one block from main street where everything is in St. Helena, making it a blast to stay at.

Incredible Farm House!

From the moment you drive up to this adorable St Helena farm house you feel at home. We had three couples which worked well with the three rooms. Each couple had their own bathroom which is nice. We had fun in the kitchen and it is stocked with everything you could think of. The living room is a comfy place to hang, but our favorite place was the front porch. Coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening... what could be better. Also, the owners are amazing... quick response to any question... We will be back !!!

Incredible stay, amazing home, perfect location!

My 7 college girl friends and I got together for a Napa girls' trip. We've not all been together for years and wanted to perfect setting/location. We found it, this home is so charming, very updated, spacious and clean. Christine was very responsive and a delight to work with. The house is just as it appears in the pictures and only a few blocks from the main street of St. Helena and an easy walk to the Napa River. LOVED it!!!

Ideal House in Paradise

We've been eyeing this house on VRBO for several years, and finally put the right group of 3 couples together for an incredible 3 night stay in St. Helena. We own a wine brand in Napa but live in Houston, Texas, so we're out to Napa Valley frequently. This impeccably restored farm house provided the perfect setting for bringing a few of our wine members together. With 1 suite downstairs and 2 suites upstairs, the home is configured well for most groups, and there is plenty of space to relax together or find quiet spots by way of the enormous front porch and ample backyard space. We picked gorgeous oranges in the morning, and herbs from the garden for breakfast and dinner. The location really cannot be beat - 1 short block to Main Street and all of the amenities that St. Helena has to offer. 2 minute walk to Sunfresh Market or Safeway, 3 minutes to Model Bakery in the morning, etc. We loved every minute spent socializing, laughing, drinking wine, cooking, and being together in this home, and we'll most definitely rent this house again. Can't wait to see it when the front yard vineyard is producing fruit! Everything was a breeze - from initial contact to getting things secured. And thank you for the coffee and Amizetta wine!!!

The Best Way to Experience Napa Valley

Prior to booking I did a lot of research and the time proved to be well spent. This is a tremendous property and location for a visit to Napa Valley. The house is quaint, well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed every moment spent at the house including the great front porch and backyard with grill that was perfect for holding our own small private wine tasting. Dotted with a tiny vineyard, lime tree, olive trees and flowers the yard attracts hummingbirds and honeybees each morning. Located just a block from St. Helena’s main street, everything is within walking distance including the fabulous Sunshine Market and Model Bakery. So much better than staying at a hotel and I am unable to think of even one suggestion to improve the experience.

Communications with the owner’s was perfect and don’t forget to schedule a tasting at Amizetta which will likely be the highlight of your winery visit experiences. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home.
