Wonderful, peaceful place, with a warm welcome

  • 5 of 5

This house is a beautiful place to stay. The courtyard is fabulous, such a lovely, peaceful place to relax. The house is comfortable, small but with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. Beatrice is lovely warm and full of laughter, and her collection of interesting things makes the place feel like a home. She looked after us very well. The area is stunning, beautiful beaches, amazing scenery. There are shops and tavernas in walking distance, and lively Parga a short drive away. The parking is cosy so rent a small car! All in all a wonderful holiday. Thank you.

A wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This holiday let is beautifully renovated and decorated, the traditional Greek house is welcoming and full of atmosphere. Though compact, the kitchen is more than adequate for holiday cooking and imaginatively kitted out like the rest of the house. Its exquisite courtyard, with a shady pergola, potted plants and a magnificent sea view, is a joy to use.

Anthoussa village has all the necessary shops including an excellent bakery and a variety of restaurants, and Parga’s promenades, castle and beaches are minutes away down the hill. We were well looked after by Beatrice and highly recommend her house for a lovely relaxing holiday.

great holiday amazing views

  • 5 of 5

Sitting in the patio overlooking the amazing coast line of western Greece, is one of the best ways to relax either in the cool morning hours or watching the romantic sunset. The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped, comfortable for a stay of a family of four or two couples.

The location is perfect for exploring the bays around (ask Beatrice for instructions to find the most beautiful and private ones) and hiking around the mountains and rivers (again, ask Beatrice for the best spots).

A peaceful and relaxing holiday

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing holiday and a lovely place to stay - the house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and calm - room to park your car if you have one with you (though the village roads are very small so take care !!) and Beatrice is the very kind, caring and helpful proprietor who lives next door. If you're lucky she may give you some of her home made cherry jam (bellissima!!) and can also give directions to quiet local beaches, eateries and places of interest (near and far !). I think we especially enjoyed simply sitting in the courtyard enjoying the start and finish of the day surrounded by bougainvillia, the sound of cicadas in the olive tree, a couple of sleepy cats, a gorgeous view over the valley and on occasion a welcome cooling breeze - many thanks for a very enjoyable holiday !

Wir hatten viel Spaß

  • 5 of 5

Was die Technik doch alles möglich macht.

Full of joy

  • 5 of 5

Full of joy and expectations we were leaving our ship in Igomeniza to drive only about 40 Minutes to our booked vacation place in Anthoussa. It was wonderful warm and the southern atmosphere were lifting us up. Beatrice has already mentioned, that she will guide us to her house, when we will arrive in Anthoussa, because it would not be found so easily. And we met and recognized her without any problems.

When we arrived at our vacation apartment we were so pleased about the whole atmosphere. There was a three room place, with a lot of space. When we entered in the first big room there was a dining table and opposite of it, there was the little kitchen with the stove, sink and the frigid. Above there was the dish rag and also a shelf board. Another part of the room contained a cupboard and a little away two armchairs and a small table, nice to sit there in the evening, when it was not anymore possible to stay outside on this wonderful terrace, landscaped with many beautiful blooming potted plants. It was our most beloved place to be there: Eating, reading, writing and even as our resting place, this was what we hoped to find.

The bathroom was just not a very small, cramped place that means, in this way it was very comfortable, equipped with a washing machine which we used more times.

The two sleeping rooms were quite well established with best matrasses and lightly blankets, or sheets when it was too warm to use blankets. Especially the upstairs room had a nice atmosphere, but… and this is of course the southern hemisphere, sometimes it was very hot under the roof.

And last not least, it was a very good situated place to make different outings, for example to the ancient Greece place as there is the Acheron well and its estuary, there is Dodona, and even the Meteora monasteries is achievable in one day. But also the tourist attractive place of Parga, with nice shops and restaurants can be a nice event to go there.

Some of the best advices we got from Beatrice, was the place where to swim, to relax, to enjoy the beach with its wonderful water and strand arrangements.

We had a wonderful time in Beatrice’s vacation place.

Thank you very much Beatrice.
