About Tim & Lisa Wightman

We are a family of 8 who love everything about the outdoors. There is no better place to enjoy summer and winter activities than the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Tim & Lisa Wightman purchased this house in 2013

Why Tim & Lisa Wightman chose Northern Wisconsin

We have been enjoying summer and winter vacations in the Manitowish Waters/Mercer area for over 20 years. We have been looking for the perfect home for our family of 8 to enjoy. When we found Tall Pines, we knew it would be the perfect vacation retreat for our family, friends and future renters.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with the 657 feet of beautiful lake frontage on secluded 2 acres surrounded by tall pine trees. Being at the top of the hill looking down on the lake provides fantastic views.

The house is very comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for a large family.

Guestbook comments from the manager

I have surveyed several sites and probably a few hundred vacation properties. This property, by far, met and exceeded all of my needs. I am looking forward to August!!

Best Summer Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for 2 weeks. Tim and Lisa were there upon our arrival and walked and talked us through everything. They were so helpful throughout the process and it was nice to meet them. The house is clean and beautiful, the views are great and the lake was wonderful. The kids enjoyed tubing, waterskiing and fishing. It was a quiet retreat for us from the normal hustle and bustle. We loved making summer memories here. The house was fully equipped. We were close enough to do bike trails in Manitowish and visited a couple waterfalls. Thanks for opening up your house to us and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful and Exceptionally Clean with Amazing Views!

  • 5 of 5

We were greeted by the Property Manager Diana and she walked us through everything and let us know that if we needed anything to give her a call. The house was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. We loved the scenery and sitting on the deck for morning coffee. We will definitely rent this property again! Thank you for everything!

Fantastic long weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Six of us (all adults) stayed at this property for a long weekend of snowmobiling. The house met our every need -- location, cleanliness, amenities...I could go on and on. The property owners and the manager were responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this property. I hope to return again soon!

Beautiful property in a secluded setting....remarkable!!

  • 5 of 5

I could go on and on about our experience of this past weekend. Tim & Lisa have a great home away from home.... To say the least. To rent it out to strangers an to put trust/faith into people, speaks loudly of who they are. Thanks again for allowing our snowmobiling crew to rest in your home (even if there wasn't good snow conditions-the cabin was a great place to hang out)
