Located in the heart of Honua Kai Resort on the GROUND floor - our super cute and cozy two (2) bedroom, one (1) bathroom luxury condo, includes everything you could possibly want for a time away from home. Smack dab in the middle of Honua Kai, it offers less neighborly foot traffic than inner courtyard units, is on the highly desired sunny south side, and has the extra convenience of just walking out of the lanai and being just a quick minute away from the resorts many pools and the amazing Dukes Restaurant. (please see our room layout photo for the location of our condo).

Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Konea 106 is a brand new super clean, 945 square foot (plus 325 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Just recently built in 2008, Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as an upgraded 8-setting shower head, upgraded ipod docking alarm clocks, games, and many other owner supplied goodies such as beach chairs, beach mats, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play, bed bumpers, strap on booster chair, etc.

The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to lush lawns & walkways with views of the resort and West Maui mountains.

With a king Bed with luxurious linens in the master and second bedroom and a Queen sofa sleeper in living the condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. The two bedrooms, and living each have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, a Blu-Ray DVD is available in the living room, and Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

About Brandon Mullenberg

I grew up and we currently live in Seattle, WA. My wife grew up in the Czech Republic. We have 3 little ones. A handsome 6 year old boy, a beautiful 5 year old girl, and our youngest boy is 2 years old. Our favorite getaway spot is Maui and Honua Kai.

Why Brandon Mullenberg chose Maui

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

All my units feature many added benefits, such as:

Wonderful condo, wonderful resort

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful condo. It was fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Having two children, we loved that there was a grass field right outside that they could to play and run on while we sat on the lanai. Excellent family resort! My kids loved the water slide and splash pad. We will definitely be staying at this condo the next time we return to beautiful Maui! Brandon and Monty were great to work with. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking!

Perfection

This is a wonderful place to stay. Both Brandon and Monty helped settling into our new digs for the week a snap. We arrived with our two daughters and immediately felt at home. We had pre ordered groceries which was a treat to have waiting for us after a long day of traveling. The unit is beautiful and looks out over the mountain - making for a peaceful morning each day of coffee and a book on the patio. Being on the ground floor was ideal for a quick jump into the pool or for my girls' evening frog hunting excursions. Five stars for the whole stay.

Simply Beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this bottom floor condo. Being able to walk out the lanai and to the pool within a minute was our favorite daily activity. We spent hours every evening sitting on the lanai enjoying the scenery. I would definitely recommend this condo and resort to anyone I know! If we go back to Maui we'll definitely stay here again!

Great unit - just as described!

This unit is just as described and looks exactly like in the photo. Having a ground floor unit is key with kids and this unit faces out to a large lawn in between the other HK tower. it's super convenient for the kids to have space to throw a frisbee and play! The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is large and spacious. Having laundry in unit was also really useful!

Honua Kai is a great property. We have stayed here before but over 6 years ago when this was a much less popular complex. The beach is nice out front (although we liked to walk a little south to avoid rocks) and the pools are all great although somewhat crowded. We rented a gazebo one day which made relaxing at the pool so much more enjoyable! And, while I love having a condo to cook meals at (and the BBQ grills are very nice to have access to), having a restaurant onsite is so useful and great for ordering food at the pool. Dukes has a great happy hour too!.

The owner Brandon and his property manager Monty were very easy to reach and always helpful. I appreciated all the info provided up front and this was a very smooth rental. We would definitely come back.

Great 2 Bedroom Condo in Excellent Condition in Fun Resort

We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids and had a great vacation staying in this condo. It was in great condition with everything we were looking for including 2 bedrooms, nice kitchen, nice patio opening up to grass area, short walk to pools, beach toys, pack n play, etc. It was great working with Brandon and the local manager and everything worked out great. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this property!

We stayed in this ground floor condo with our three teenage/young adult daughters. It was spacious, very well-equipped, and we loved the convenient access to pools/beach through lanai. Brandon and Monty were very responsive. Kitchen tap was not working properly and was very quickly replaced. Ideal location on the quiet sunny side of the resort. Would love to return.
