We stayed in this apartment in early July, and used it as a base from which to make day trips in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.. We couldn't have been more pleased!
The location is absolutely perfect, just a few minutes walk from the central train station, which made coming and going a breeze. Walking or taking the bahn to Marienplatz was also quick and easy.
There is a security gate at the entrance to the complex, and another main lock to the building, then a third private door to the apartment, so you are truly secure here. The main bedroom overlooked somewhat of a courtyard area, and there were big windows and two balconies to let in fresh air and natural light.
The apartment is stocked with everything you need, including a welcome basket with wonderful coffee and treats. Everything in the unit is top notch and impeccably clean.
There is a washer dryer in the kitchen, along with an array of appliances.
All in all, it's like a home away from home!
We searched quite a bit before deciding on an apartment and we are so glad we chose this one! It was clean comfortable and perfectly situated for our week stay in Munich. We have two children under the age of 9 and they really enjoyed staying here. There is a little courtyard with a small yard where the children played on the swing and see-saw. They even met a cute little girl who they befriended and played with despite the language barrier (play is not language-specific!). The apartment was within walking distance of the Central train station which was very convenient. Don't miss Augustiner-Keller Beer garden, one of the oldest beer gardens in all of Munich-- it is within walking distance! Sit outside, enjoy a beer and kids can play on the playground.Awesome!! Also, a little market downstairs from the apartment was a very friendly lady (who spoke English) she was very helpful! We bought our water, wine and beer there!! Fauzia was very reliable and it was very easy to process our reservation through her! We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!
Our family of three stayed here for 7-days in June/July and we thoroughly enjoyed both the apartment and its location.
The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you could want. It is also very centrally located and perfect for walking to all of Munich's main attractions.
Finally, we were made very welcome on our arrival - thanks!
The apartment looks just like the pictures. It is spacious, luxurious, with plenty of amenities and clean. There was a "Welcome" gift with a warm welcome from FH. There is free WiFi, flat screen TV, Radio, all the modern appliances, and a washer/dryer. The apartment is within walking distance from the Munich Hauptbahnhof. I would recommend FH to anyone visiting Munich.
My husband and I have travelled and stayed in some beautiful places, but this apartment definately takes the cake.
The most outstanding features were how beautifully decorated the apartment was, the spaciousness, the comfort of the bed and just overall luxuriousness!!
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children (16 and 6) and stayed for 5 nights. There were excellent size rooms with queen beds. There was also a beautiful cot for anyone with a baby.
We arrived and the property owner met us to let us in and showed us everything we needed to know. Every tiny detail had been thought out by the owners. A welcome pack was there for us with some coffee, sugar, chocolate and cookies. Water (both still and sparking) had been placed in the fridge! Beautiful bath products were available. A full kitchen was available with every utensil you would possibly need during your stay.
I loved that the apartment had a washing machine. After our long travels it was so nice to be able to do some washing, and off course there was a indoor clothes line for you to hang your clothes on! The apartment owners had even placed a couple of washing capsules to get you started on your washing.
The apartment was in a great location (3 mins walk from the train station). Downstairs was a great german restaurant! It was only a 10 minute walk into the actual city centre!
I hope with such a beautiful apartment people can appreciate and respect the work that has gone into it. The apartment was just warm, cosy and stunning.
Obviously because it is an apartment it is not serviced, however there were always enough supplies for use (extra towels etc).
My only struggle during the time spent, was wondering where to place our rubbish outside?
I hope one day I go back to Munich and that the apartment is available as I couldnt stay anywhere else now!
