This unit was perfect for our trip. Located within walking distance to everything you need in Avon. The kids loved the view of the river from the balcony, not to mention the amazing skiing at Beaver Creek!
We loved the location of this home. Everything made it feel inviting including the staff who were incredibly nice.We will definitely be coming back.
Stayed a few days over New Year's Eve with five friends last year. What a beautiful place! Everything has been upgraded so nicely - modern, yet cozy, clean and comfortable. I love to cook so I was happy to find the kitchen had everything you might need or want. Location was so convenient to the Beaver Creek lift that we even walked to the gondola one day. Close to the grocery store which was nice, too. Love the fact that there was a washer/dryer since we don't like to pack heavy and everything gets dirty when you're skiing! Lots of fun relaxing by the fire, playing charades and soaking in the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. Thanks to the management for the extra nice little touches - a welcome basket of snacks and a dvd library. We would definitely like to come back.
Upon arrival we were impressed with the condition and cleanliness and ease of entry. The video system would please any "techie" and the unit's very well-equipped gourmet kitchen could support a Thanksgiving dinner. Easy walks to the Westin lift and the town of Avon and a bus stop right outside the front door provided local access as well as connections to Vail. Very good in-town restaurants within easy walking distance: don't miss The Blue Plate. We enjoyed beautiful views from the back decks and spent several sunny afternoons, after skiing, soaking up the warmth of the sun. Strolling along the "Riverwalk" inspires photography and painting(my wife is an artist). The garage was a plus eliminating the need to scrape off snow in the mornings while keeping skis securely stored.
