These simple, elegant, oceanfront Beach Houses (plus new apartment - The Sloop – see below!) boast picture-perfect views across the pool and gardens leading onto beautiful Bathway Beach. Rates in US dollars can be seen by clicking through on the Rates/Prices of each unit's listing. Our Availability can be seen on the Availability Calendars for each unit.

Each spacious, detached, 2-bedroom house (extra bedroom for a child in Pelican!) has a Queen bed in one ensuite bedroom, and two Extra-Long Twins in the second ensuite bedroom. Ensuites bathrooms in the villas are actually large shower or wetrooms, (approx 8'x5').

The villas – Pelican and BeachComber - each have two large balconies with casual seating and an outdoor dining area. Accommodation includes a full kitchen with fridge/freezer, four ring gas stove/cooktop and oven, and room to relax in the spacious Great Room.

Our new apartment. The Sloop, features a sunny and spacious patio which faces the sea, a bright and sunny kitchen/living area with fridge-freezer and four-ring gas stove/cooktop and oven. A separate bedroom with a Queen-sized bed has an ensuite shower room. The Sloop is on the ground floor adjacent to the owner's villa, which is on stilts. This means that nobody is above, below, or beside you!

The garden path leads past the shared saltwater pool and directly onto the beach. Free Wireless Internet (wifi) in each of the villas and the apartment, original art on the walls, and other special touches to help make this your perfect holiday hideaway.

The Sloop is located on the ground floor beside the owners home which is on 'stilts' which means there is nobody above, beside or underneath you.

Why Kitty JarmanPrice chose Grenada

We fell in love with the island - and the people - of Grenada on our very first visit, a slightly delayed honeymoon. On our second visit we felt so bereft at having to leave, we started looking for property & soon discovered the cooler, greener, quieter north of the island.

The North is completely unspoilt by tourism yet with a strong enough expat/retired Grenadian population to support a range of restaurants and services. Bathway Beach - and neighbouring Levera - are quite simply gorgeous and untouched... in fact, we are the only accommodation on the beachfront in our area.

What makes this apartment unique

We designed and oversaw the building of this property ourselves. Having spent so much of our professional lives travelling hotel to hotel, the last thing we wanted when we were on holiday was to go stay in another hotel with bland decor, intrusive daily housekeeping, and the pressure of rushing to the hotel restaurant before they stopped serving breakfast!

MoonFish is entirely self-catering which allows guests to set their own pace and truly relax!

The villas are fully detached, and the ground-floor apartment is very private, each with a kitchen which saves guests money, as they don't need to eat every meal out in a restaurant.

Vacation Rentals are growing in popularity over hotels, with most guests refusing to go back to the more expensive, smaller square footage, with fewer amenities shared by more guests that hotels offer. We are always thrilled when guests arrive and exclaim 'there's so much room!'

Our guests enjoy a quieter stay as we only allow children who are 8 years or older. This is not as restrictive as some properties on the island, some have a limit of 15 or over, but it works for us - and our guests!

Peaceful, relaxing beachfront apartment

The property was very easy to find after we drove up Island from St. David. It's in an absolutely stunning location along Bathway Beach. Kitty and Russ were very pleasant, excellent hosts and provided lots of information about the area. We felt welcome and settled in to the clean comfortable apartment easily. The sounds of the birds and crashing waves provided a wonderful soundtrack and the view from the property is beautiful. We explored the north of the island and had terrific experiences at Levara pond and beach, Sauteurs and Belmont Estate. The lunch buffet and walking around the Belmont Estate are highly recommended. Don't forget to check out their gardens! We also spent a fair amount of time just relaxing on the beach and hanging out at the pool at the property. We love Grenada and miss the friendliness and beauty already. Cameron & Judy

Simply perfect

We have been to many an island in the Caribbean, and I must say this was truly one of our favorite vacations in no small part to the wonderful hospitality of Kitty and Russ. We stayed in the Sloop apartment which we absolutely loved. The Sloop is on the ground level, but you can still see the ocean through the swaying palms or take a twenty second walk to one of the better beaches on the island for walking and star gazing. With it's proximity on the North side of Grenada, you get quick access to Levera beach (the best beach on the island), amazingly fresh air and the sound of waves every night which are far better than counting sheep for some needed shut eye. The sloop itself is nicely designed with a modern bathroom (great shower), bedroom and kitchenette setup that is all well appointed. This also means you can cook if you so desire (fresh out of the ocean Tuna is $7 EC per pound!). The pictures on HomeAway really don't do it justice. It's a very clean, well designed and comfortable space as a vacation rental. The great thing about the North of Grenada is that you are totally removed from the Grand Anse scene. Now, if you like thumping music and hordes of sunburned twenty-somethings downing Carib's and sugary cocktails in hopes of making a new friend to spend the evening with, then this isn't the place for you. If you relate to words like relaxing, natural, fresh, clean and secluded, then this is the place for you. Kitty will arrange, for a very reasonable price, a jaunt to Sandy Island with a local fisherman. It's a Top 10 beach that, if you are lucky like we were, you will have all to yourself expect for the occasional drive-by - we got fresh barracuda cooked for us on the beach by some local fisherman who had stopped by. A climb up Piton is another incredible trip with some of the best views on the island. Christopher, who tends goats at the base, showed us the local paths which have the best views of Sugar Loaf, Levera and Sandy Island for a small tip. In terms of food, Aggie's was quite good. Edy's on the beach has amazingly good fry chicken for $10 EC, and there is always someone on the way to Sauteres cooking fish and BBQ. We love to eat local if you can't tell. Overall, an amazing stay with amazing hosts in Kitty and Russ - rent a car (it's needed) and you will absolutely fall in love with Moonfish Villas, the beauty of north Grenada and it's vibrant and friendly people. No better place in Grenada than here if you ask me.

Fantastic property - the best hostess

One of the best beach/relaxing and exciting/exploration holidays I have had in many years. The property is beautiful in the best location at Bathaway beach- right on the beautiful beach. They have a wonderful pool and the sound of waves lulled this weary traveller into a wonderful sleep.

Bathaway is a protected jewel for swimming. The beach BBQ served up by lovely local ladies is remarkable food - I had a dish called Ginger Paw Paw which was a unique culinary discovery.

Kitty is a doll - could not be more helpful and accommodating. We asked to upgrade to a large 2 bedroom villa and she had us moved in the next morning after getting up at 6 am to prepare it - WOW that is what I call service beyond expectations. Kitty also arranged a boat trip to Sandy Island which was an unforgettable adventure. Thank you so for making our holiday a lasting memory.

Great Place Away From It All!

We came for a quick New Years Eve trip and stayed for 4 days. The property is on the complete opposite side of the island from the airport but its well worth the drive. This part of the island is a lot less touristy and really beautiful. The beach at the property was pretty much a private beach. There were also several local places to eat within walking distance. The amenities were clean and quiet and had everything we needed for meals. Kitty was super helpful in dealing with our last minute arrangements and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something off the beaten path.

Amazing stay in the most beautiful part of Grenada

We stayed at the sloop for a week after spending 4 nights in Grand Anse Area. Bathway beach (and the northern part of Grenada) is absolutely beautiful and still untouched. The accommodation was brand new and very cute. It is a prefect place for a couple. Kitchen is well equipped and shower is great. The location of the accommodation is incredible, right off beach, you can be in bed and still hear the sound of the waves! The swimming pool (shared with the other villas) is very nice with great views of the beach. Kitty our host was very friendly and helpful. We were VERY sad to leave this place and can't wait to go back!

Every guide book talks of ‘breathtaking’, ‘unspoilt’, Bathway Beach. This is the heart of authentic, hidden Grenada. Discover historic plantation houses, haunting Carib's Leap and evocative Helvellyn House with its’ famous pottery. Grand Etang National Reserve is just 30 minutes drive away. Within 15 minutes drive are shops and supermarkets and a number of restaurants ranging from the formal to the charming. However, just a few minute’s walk along the beach are 3 ramshackle ‘chicken shacks’ serving freshly caught fish and chicken of course and behind them is the popular Aggie's restaurant. For nature lovers Levera Beach is moments away, a secluded haven for birds and sea turtles, including the giant Leatherback. ‘This is Turtle watching is at it's best!’ Local fishermen will take you fishing or for a day's picnic and snorkelling on Sandy Island (which lies opposite the beach house) where the famous Bounty Chocolate bar adverts were filmed – this truly is ‘A taste of paradise’.
