Overview

Breckenridge Condo Rental Photos and Description

A 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo with Peak 9 Views

Our building is situated below Peak 9 in the Four Seasons/Warrior's Mark neighborhood of beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. It's perfectly located because a short (5-10 min) walk will have you on the QuickSilver or Beaver Run Super Chairs, while a couple of minutes in the other direction will land you on Breckenridge's historic Main Street. If that's too much walking, the local (free!) shuttle stops directly outside the front door.

Just renovated and refurnished over the Summer '15, our 2nd Floor, 2-level unit is bright and comfortable, offering views of Peak9 from the living area and from the master loft bedroom. Just open your eyes for the snow report and mountain conditions!

Our condo sleeps 5. The loft bedroom has one queen bed, the 2nd bedroom has one full bed and one twin bed (ideal for a couple and child).

The brand-new kitchen is well-appointed and should have everything you need for preparing meals and beverages and has seating for 5. Or take the cooking outside - we have a great deck facing south-west for Colorado sunshine and a new gas Weber for grilling.

The 42' LCD TV in the living area is equipped with a Roku3 streaming box, with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBO Go accounts for our guests. We don't have "live" TV, other than offerings through some of the other channels available through Roku. Our free WiFi downloads around 25 mbps.

Miner's Candle shares access to the Columbine Pool House (about 40 yards away), where you'll find 4 Jacuzzi hot tubs (2 indoor/2 outdoor) and a heated outdoor pool with locker rooms and showers.

About Jay Randall

Jay, Shelly & Teagan Randall are Denver Residents aspiring to spend more time in the Mountains.

Thanks for visiting with us.

Jay Randall purchased this condo in 2012

Why Jay Randall chose Breckenridge Area

We purchased our Breckenridge home away from home in the fall of 2012. As avid snowboarders and long-time admirers of Breck in all seasons, we thought that Miner's Candle was situated perfectly between the mountain and everything that the town had to offer - the perfect short escape from Denver and a respite from I-70's weekend traffic.

We've finally brought the condo up to date with a huge renovation, and we're looking forward to all of the family adventures it will bring us in the years to come.

We're also looking forward to sharing our home with others - locals, regulars and of course those lucky enough to be experiencing Breckenridge for the first time.

Great location, remodeled unit, wonderful kitchen!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time in Breck! Our accommodations were very nice. We loved the decor and comfortable sofa and beds. It was a bit warm however and I prefer to have air conditioning at night which was not available but probably hardly ever needed. The condo was in a great location right at the end block of Main St. The kitchen was fully equipped which was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

Clean, comfortable Condo!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the condo for a couple days of Spring skiing. It was clean, updated and a very comfortable unit. The new couch was big (surprisingly for a smaller condo), deep and cozy. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day. We never cooked in the kitchen but it looked like there was pretty much everything you may need to make a meal. Bathrooms were updated with new tile. Beds were comfortable. A lot of options for watching TV. Actually, the condo's use of space was very good...seemed bigger than it was. Brown Bus stopped right out of front. Walking was doable but a little too far after a long day of skiing. Owner was very easy to work with and was prompt with all inquiries. We would definitely consider this condo again.

Great place and location!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was in the perfect location for our ski vacation - steps away from the peak 9 base and a short walk to Main Street. The place was nice, clean and had everything we needed. Newly updated everything! Comfortable beds and furniture.

Jay was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

Expertly renovated with easy access to the slopes. Home for a great family ski vacation.

  • 3 of 5

Newly renovated kitchen and family area is the highlight of this great vacation rental. An easy walk to Peak 9 lifts makes it great for skiing and snowboarding. You are also a quick drive or a reasonable walk to downtown (we did not try the walk). A convenience store and gas station one block away comes in handy as well. This is a perfect place for a family or group with similar bedtimes. Sounds from the living area naturally flow to the loft bedroom so it can be a challenge if bedtimes differ. Pre-high school kids will love the small second bedroom but adults might find the single bed there a challenge--the full bed in the second room works well for kids or adults.

One downside is the lack of a in-condo laundry. The walk to the laundry room is manageable but during our stay only one of the two available coin-operated dryers was working and not very well. This inconvenience alone drove the rating down from a 4+ so if you don't plan to do laundry this is your place!

Importantly the owner is fantastic!! Very gracious, understanding and flexible during the entire process. We've stayed in many VRBO places and Jay is the best owner we've run across!!

Breckenridge is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Skiing/snowboarding, fishing, golfing, white-water kayaking, horseback riding, skating, biking and hiking are just a few of the activities that our mountain town has to offer.

And with over 75 restaurants and bars, 160 shops & boutiques, 250 historic designations, a local theater company, an art's district, museums, galleries and concerts at the Riverwalk Center, Breckenridge's cultural offerings are as deep as the 300 inches of annual snowfall and as abundant as Breck's 300 Days of Sunshine!

In short, there's something for everyone in Breckenridge - and it's all just steps away from our perfectly situated condo in the Warrior's Mark area - a 5 minute walk to the Quicksilver lift and a 3 minute walk in the other direction to Main Street.
