About David Krawec

Owner: David Krawec. Here we are 'Up North' enjoying a home cooked dinner at the lake. We love this place!

David Krawec purchased this townhome in 2012

Why David Krawec chose Northern Michigan

Lake Charlevoix voted 2nd Best Lake in America on USA Today Newsapaper poll in 2012!

I vacationed at this location while growing up and find both summer (boating) and winter (skiing) activities provide the best in family fun and vacationing.

What makes this townhome unique

Relax on the porch and enjoy viewing the scenic lakefront. Soak up the sun, swim off the beach, and fish for bass off the dock. Within walking distance to Boyne City with quaint shops, quiet dinners, and leisurely strolls with an ice cream cone from Kilwins.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the generous review, and input on use of the A/V. I will use your suggestions to include better info on the the "arrival and departure instructions" I send to booked visitors. I really appreciate these comments to help improve the visits of future guests. Please do consider a autumn color or hunting weekend in fall or a ski weekend at Boyne Mountain this winter. These are great seasonal family events. Thanks again!.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for the kind review! Again, I'm sorry about the miscommunication on the booking on my behalf and hope it was not an inconvenience. Please feel free to call me directly if there are any remaining concerns I will address immediately. I hope you can visit for a Boyne ski weekend this winter. Northern Michigan is so beautiful with snow -- snowmobiling and cross country skiing are also great activities for long weekend to spend with friends around a cozy fire at the lake.

Spacious condo with magnificent views of Lake Charlevoix

  • 5 of 5

This condo is spacious and conveniently located. The condo sits close to the water with multiple views of Lake Charlevoix. Each bedroom has its own bath. The great room is very large with a fireplace and a built in bar. There is ample dining space and the kitchen is well equiped. I would not recommend this condo for anyone who has difficult negotiating stairs as the condo extends over 3 levels although there are railings. This is a very nice place to stay and we are considering returning to it again.

Fabulous location and beauitful view of Lake Charlevoix

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 3 couples up for the Bike4BreastCancerRideNM and had a FUN long weekend. The place was perfect for the 6 of us - each had our own bedroom and bathroon. We ate breakfast in each morning, and downtown was close enough to walk to (only 1 mile). We had a great dinner at Cafe Sante in Boyne City and icecream over at the Parkside. Lots of cute stores, and we loved walking along the lake front. We spent Saturday night up in Petoskey, and Sunday in Charlevoix. Our favorite restaurant for the weekend was the City Grill in Petoskey (a local hang-out of Ernest Hemmingway's :), and we LOVED the smoked whitefish that we picked up and brought home from John Cross Fisheries in Charlevoix. Would definitely like to spend more time here!
