About David Krawec
Owner: David Krawec. Here we are 'Up North' enjoying a home cooked dinner at the lake. We love this place!
David Krawec purchased this Townhome in 2012
Why David Krawec chose Boyne City
Lake Charlevoix voted 2nd Best Lake in America on USA Today Newsapaper poll in 2012! I vacationed at this location while growing up and find both summer (boating) and winter (skiing) activities provide the best in family fun and vacationing.
What makes this Townhome unique
Relax on the porch and enjoy viewing the scenic lakefront. Soak up the sun, swim off the beach, and fish for bass off the dock. Within walking distance to Boyne City with quaint shops, quiet dinners, and leisurely strolls with an ice cream cone from Kilwins.

My family had a great time and truly enjoyed this location. Would love to return in the future.
Thank you Kelly,
I hope the kids were comfortable on the loft. I plan to swap the futon for a Murphy bed during the off season to make it more comfortable. Please do return next season. It would be great to have you back.
Great Vacation Rental
We had a great time using this condo as a homebase in Boyne. We were on a ski trip. It was close enough that we would go ski in the morning, come back to the condo for lunch, and hit the slopes again in the afternoon. WOW! The cozy fires at night, and the many board games in stock, made this condo ideal. We will do it again.
Your kind review is appreciated...Thank you.
I'm understand the snow conditions were pretty nice (but cold) last week. I'm glad you could return to the house to warm up with a nice hot lunch before heading back for the afternoon skiing. And glad the evenings with your family was fun on-site.
Please come back for a visit in the summer season. I'm think you and your family would enjoy the lake.
We rented Kayaks and the dock provided great access to the lake. Bathrooms remodeled recently and lovely. Master bedroom bed slept great. Great place for two couples and kids.
Thank you for the kind review. Its great you rented some kayaks to get out on the beautiful lake. Please consider a return with the kids for a ski weekend at Boyne (a short 10 minute drive). We'd love to have you back!
It was wonderful! We plan to return next year.
We have spent many years on Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix and of all the places we've rented this was our favorite. The view was perfect, and the location was great. The proximity to both Charlevoix and Boyne City made it very convenient. We had our family with us including 3 young grandchildren and they loved it as much as we did
I'm so glad your grandchildren enjoyed swimming off the dock and playing at the nearby beaches. My wife and I vacationed here with my kids when they were young and they, too, loved the water. They're adults now and have great memories of our annual summer vacations "Up North."
Please do consider us again - It would be great to host your family for another stay at our home.
Spacious with a beautiful view of the Lake
This townhouse was very nice and very spacious. It was close to everything we wanted to do - rent a boat, zip lining, Mackinaw, etc. Sitting on the dock a couple nights was very nice as well. Mr. Krawek was very nice and quick to answer any questions or offer any suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Make sure you do the Avalanche Reserve hike for the sunsets - so beautiful! P.S. I would make the trip to Petoskey for Meijer for groceries - the local grocery store just down the street is good for emergencies but Meijer is much cheaper and a lot more variety. We're back in St. Louis where the temps are stupid hot so we are really missing our spot on the Lake in Michigan!
I'm glad you were able to visit the nearby towns and take advantage of the lake, great weather, and local activities (I plan to do the ziplining on my visit at the end of the season). I agree that the sunset view from Avalanche Preserve is beautiful. I do hope you plan a return trip - it's great every time.
Clean, convenient and great views
We thought the house was clean and cozy. The location near the lake, Boyne Mountain, the Village and the grocery store were all incredibly convenient. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake with the hills in the background.
We found the owner to be extremely accommodating and was responsive if we needed anything. Great customer service.
It was a wonderful place to spend a long weekend.
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and had fun skiing at Boyne. The views are equally incredible during the summer and fall. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are thinking of another visit. Thanks again.
