We are getting readjusted to our regular life here back in Massachusetts. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans. Great food, music, history, architecture and gardens. We hope we can make it down for another visit someday.
We loved the apartment, location was great and it was a lovely space to hang out at the end of the day.
What a beautiful place to stay !! Can't say enough about the care that has been taken to give you the nicest amenities but keeping the old world charm of this beautiful building. The pictures do not show you how really romantic and lovely it is !! This home is directly on Magazine street in a wonderful part of the Lower Garden District - close to the Warehouse District and The Quarter so shops, restaurants and bars are just a walk away !! We loved having our coffee every morning on the terrace and watching the "Nola flavor" go by !! With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths we will be back next time and bring another couple to stay !! Our host, Julie was amazing with info of the area and always available if needed. We would absolutely recommend this property to all !!! We will be back soon !!!
Upon first impression, the exterior of the property was not necessarily all that aesthetically pleasing. BUT once inside it was very charming, clean and nicely decorated. Shops, bars and restaurants are easy walking distance. Unfortunately, we did not get to browse the unique boutiques, etc due to bad weather. However, we did take the owner's advice and eat at Peche, and it was delicious. The owner's were very helpful, the inside is lovely and the rental is really close to all the really great stuff to do in New Orleans. The stairs are a little steep and narrow. It had romantic charm, so I'd recommend it for spending time with your loved one, also a great place to keep in mind for a girl's trip!
We really enjoyed this beautiful apartment and it's location. My only issue is that the living room furniture is older and not very comfortable. The rest of the apartment is beautifully appointed.
Great location. Great owners with great recommendations during your stay. Easy access to French Quarter, Aquarium, WW II museum, etc. Peaceful, Charming.... would highly recommend.

What an exceptional place to stay! My family (2 adults + 1 teen) spent a week in New Orleans and fell in love with this home. It is beautifully decorated and drenches you in New Orleans charm. Excellent location with so much to see and do right outside the door. The St. Charles street car is close by and there are loads of great cafe's, restaurants and shops nearby. I can't imagine a better place to stay and Julie was fantastic to work with. Thank you for a wonderful vacation...We will be back!
