I and/or my associates (Laura, Pam, Howard) are 100% reachable 24/7 to answer any questions you may have, make you feel comfortable getting in and out of the city, and provide a smooth check-in/checkout experience. Our goal is to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible and frankly, that you'll wish to recommend this loft to other good people like yourself! We love showing off our City, especially Downtown.
This is quite probably one of the best spots in the City. The vibes from the locals are one of the great things about this amazing neighborhood! Although it's rarely been a problem for our guests, we do want to point out that Downtown St. Louis does witness loud partying people in the street below, which could be a problem for a guest even though the lovely loft is on the 3rd floor. However, as you can see from the reviews, it doesn't seem to have significantly impacted our guests' safety, experience or comfort. We just thought it would be good to let you know this before you book the loft. Sports fans can walk 10 minutes to a Cardinal's game 10 minutes to the Convention Center (America's Center) and 5 minutes to see the Blues. The Peabody Opera House and the Scottrade Center is also just a 5 minute walk. City Museum is 2 blocks to the west. Frequently asked driving/walking distances: (1) Busch stadium (Ballpark Village, Cardinals Baseball etc); 18 minutes to walk or 6 minutes to drive. (2) America's Center (Convention Center); 11 minutes to walk or 5 minutes to drive. (3) Scottrade Center (Blues Hockey etc); 11 minutes to walk or 5 minutes to drive.
Everything one could possibly need is within walking distance of the loft. The Culinaria downtown’s grocery store/food-market with pharmacy is only 4 blocks away, and it’s open 7 days a week. If arriving from the airport, the Metro link train will take you right into Downtown, get off at the Convention Center stop and walk 7 blocks to the lovely loft. If you're arriving by car, there is metered parking on the street ($1/hour from 8 am -7 pm, free on Sundays).
Other things to note
If you need a Pack'n'Play in the Loft, please remind us to put it there a few days before your arrival. There is secure, fenced, 24 parking at a nearby parking lot, which is 4 minutes from the loft (just under 2 blocks away). It's also the same place you'll get your key to the Lovely Loft. If you book the parking then your magnet card (for that secure lot) will be placed in the lockbox with your key. Once you have booked the loft, we will text you a link to book this parking in Downtown St. Louis. Most of our guests use this parking because then there's no worries about getting a ticket on an expired meter, but it's entirely up to you. Please note that, whether you book parking or not, the lockbox for the loft is actually located at the parking lot. If you book parking then there'll be a magnet card in the lockbox too. If you don't book parking, then it'll just be the key to the loft building and the loft itself. To clarify, please note that booking this loft alone, does NOT include parking. If you want to book the parking, it's done separately outside of HomeAway
