The Holiday Life is proud to present our newest historic downtown gem, JC Butler House! This stately home was built in 1848 by Mr. James C. Butler, who was a business partner of local Architect John McMurtry on several antebellum real estate deals in downtown Lexington. It was originally a one story Greek revival cottage but later received a second story addition. This Bluegrass Trust protected property is comprised of a ground floor living room, dining room, kitchen and glass enclosed sitting porch as well as 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths - the master is on the ground floor with the other two guest rooms upstairs. There is beautiful natural light throughout and outside, you have a large private courtyard, grilling and dining area, and a tranquil fountain water feature. A pathway leads from the back door of the house to the detached two car garage that is available for parking with space for two additional cars in the driveway - a total of four private parking spaces! The downtown location is wonderful - right on Main Street across from the convention center and walking distance to Rupp Arena and all the best downtown restaurants and bars.
Bedroom Details: First floor master bedroom has a king size bed, a second floor master has a queen size bed and separate sitting area with queen sleeper. Third guest room has two twin beds to sleep a total of 8 guests!
