2 king bedrooms, 1 Queen bedroom and sleeping loft w/ 2 twins and a full bed and 1/2 bath. This unit is located within a short walk to the ski slopes of ski beech. Stone fireplace (can buy wood at Fred's Mercantile), spacious bedrooms, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Please note that this is a somewhat rustic 1970's ski chalet that is also our family vacation home. We have made improvements and updates but we are not a professional management company. You may have to turn on the water at arrival. The home is comfortable, somewhat quirky in decor and a ton of fun for those who enjoy the slopes and outdoors, but not like staying at a Mariott. While we strive to provide electronic conveniences of cable and wifi, they are not guaranteed to work, outages occur during storms and heavy snow. Linens and towels provided. Laundry on site. Very limited parking, 2 car maximum.

Our family has traveled to Beech Mountain for winter getaways for 10 years. We are from the Raleigh NC area and love all the seasons at Beech. We are an active family who skiis, snowboards, rafts, hikes and takes in all this area has to offer.
Wendy Burns purchased this chalet in 2012
Our family has traveled to Beech Mountain for winter getaways for 10 years. We recently purchased two units and have discovered the wonderful summers at Beech Mountain. The local attractions of Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock with all their festivals and activities keep us busy. The local Rivers offer white water rafting and tubing. Mountain biking is huge and hiking through wild rhodendrums and water falls is breath taking. The local golf courses are beautiful too.
We chose this home because of the proximity to the slopes and sleeping for 10 but we couldn't have guessed how comfortable we'd be the entire stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful. For the 10 of us to be able to enjoy the Super Bowl, play cards, make brownies or look at a magazine in shared space is a rare blessing in rental homes. Will definitely be back.
This condo was cozy and welcoming, well-maintained, and walkable to the mountain--all making it the perfect spot to stay when visiting Beech Mtn! We came for a ski weekend and found it to be everything we were looking for. Thank you!
This rental allowed us to have a quite and relaxing stay while being so close to the slope! We were all very comfortable and enjoyed the time together especially on the great deck.It is clean, cute, and comfortable. Just what we needed for a nice weekend away in the mountains.
Walk to Ski Beech or short drive to App Mountain Ski and Sugar Ski or Hawks Crest snow tubing and zip lines. Mountain biking, hiking, rafting and water tubing.
