Sleeping up to 5 persons, the apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second with two single beds. There is also a fold away for a 5th person if required. Included in the price is a FREE welcome breakfast pack for your first morning with your choice of white or brown bread and a welcome bottle of wine for a relaxing evening drink on your day of arrival. Choice of red or white. There is also a FREE Haggis (freshly caught) for you to sample if you are feeling brave. Also short bread, oat cakes and Irn Bru (Scotland’s other national drink). Complimentary tea and coffee.

I have lived in Glasgow my whole life and currently stay within 5 miles of the apartment. I studied at Strathclyde University in the city where I gained a B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Eng. I have owned this apartment for the last 9 years and have operated this and 11 others apartments in the city for the last 8 years.

Great views south west over Glasgow Green and close to the river Clyde walkway. Whin 20 minutes walk of the city centre via the park. Quiet location yet close to the city

Prices based on 3 or 4 people sharing. Reduced nightly rate for single or 2 people occupancy. For 5th person there is an additional charge of £10 per night on stays less than 7 nights and £5 per night on stays of 7 nights and more.
Security deposit not required. 10% deposit required to secure booking. Deposit is non-returnable if booking cancelled by guest. Full payment due 3 - 4 weeks before date
We are a French family of five and on the day of our arrival, Alan was so nice as to pick us up at the airport. He drove us to the flat and on the way talked to us about Glasgow and its inhabitants.
The flat was perfectly clean and comfortable and Alan offered us some typical Scottish food and drinks.
The flat is well situated and you can easily walk or take the bus to go to the city center. It is very quiet as well.
We really enjoyed our holidays and we highly recommend the flat.
We (I, my son, 15, my daughter, 10, and my son's friend, also 15) stayed a week at the Flat on the Green and had a wonderful time. The flat was clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable, and included all modern amenities. The owner, Mr. Macdonald, was attentive and kind and immediately attended to minor problems when they arose. The flat literally overlooks Glasgow Green, and is a short walk from the People's Palace, which turned out to be one of my favorite places in Glasgow. We were also quite close to an amazing playground, which the children loved, and to the Barras, which we roamed through on the weekend. Buses in the area were frequent, but it was only a twenty-minute walk to the heart of Glasgow. Even now, close to the end of October, we are all still talking about what a wonderful time we had.
This flat suited our needs perfectly. It was clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. A modern well fitted kitchen and newly refurbished bathroom. Alan met us on arrival and was extremely helpful and left us a welcome pack with milk, tea, bread, wine and more. There was plenty of free parking outside, which suited us well. The flat overlooked the Green and was sunny and bright. You can walk into the park and to the riverside walk along the banks of the Clyde. It was very convenient to central Glasgow and Alan had even offered to meet us if we had come by train. He couldn't have been more helpful. It was good value and I would definitely go back or recommend it to friends visiting Glasgow.
We stayed at the Apartment on the Green during the last week in July and found the apartment to be exactly as pictured. Alan was there to greet us and even supplied us with bread, wine, and some necessities (including haggis). He was a most welcoming and gracious host, and we were delighted to meet him. The apartment was within walking distance of the Hop-On, Hop-Off bus, and we used it for most of our touring in Glasgow. West Brewery is also within walking distance, and we had two good meals there.

The apartment is 400 metres from two of Glasgow's main visitor attractions, the Peoples Palace and Doulton Fountain, where you can also pick up the Glasgow City tour bus. The city centre and Merchant City with its numerous restaurants and bars are within a short walking distance. The River Clyde walkway is within 50 metres. There is also a supermarket and a swimming pool within one mile.
