Guestbook comments from the manager

We had such a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed wine tasting during the day and had such relaxing evenings at the house. Our dogs loved the surroundings. Your house is beautiful and we really felt comfortable and relaxed. Our favorite part of our trip -- wine & cheese on the deck with our dogs, at sunset. We hope to return soon. We love this place.

Reviewer Comments:

Nice, well-designed and decorated house with nice views of the bay and mountains. Plenty of room for a family of 5 with pet, despite only two bedrooms. Not so close to beach or Cambria villages, but a good "base" for visiting the town and other nearby attractions.

Well-kept, quiet, convenient home in a charming town. Loved the proximity to Bluff trails & beaches!

  • 5 of 5

This house was the perfect answer to traveling with our two Labs and still enjoying ourselves. We loved the hilltop, panoramic views, especially from the beautiful wraparound deck. The fenced backyard made the dog routine easy. All the extra dog paraphernalia was appreciated, since we forgot a bowl and extra blankets. The dogs got plenty of exercise between the Bluff trail, the Moonstone Beach boardwalk and the dog friendly beaches nearby and slept soundly every night.

Our teenage daughter thoroughly enjoyed her downstairs suite, but the ping pong table was the ultimate delight. I understand the late night matches got pretty raucous, but I slept blissfully in the quiet upstairs.

The stove in the living room was cozy as we waited for the fog of morning to lift and when temperatures dropped a bit at night.

We found the kitchen clean and well-appointed and cooked a bit, but we were tempted by some local restaurants (Robin's, Centrally Grown and Linn's). All were terrific.

From this great location we visited Ragged Point (as far as we could go with PCH 1 closed for repairs), kayaked in Morro Bay and toured Hearst Castle. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. When we decide to return we hope the Marine Terrace will be available. Thank you for a fantastic four night getaway!

Beautiful home with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 stayed here. Kids were comfortable and wife was too :-)

Cozy, great views and all the small things you would hope to fine (ex. Coffee grinder, washer dryer, Keirig, stocked kitchen utensils and appliances). Kids had fun playing ping pong in the garage.

Generous, clean, friendly

  • 5 of 5

This is a late review. We stayed in this house twice with our two dogs. The house is comfortable, well decorated, very clean and well equipped. It feels like home and is very welcoming. Our furry children were so pampered by the clean doggy blankets and doggy bowls. There was even a fresh doggy bed in the garage for our big dog. The back yard is very dog friendly. The owner is very generous with supply such as kitchen towels, doggy plastic bag dispensers, cleaning detergent, etc. Unfortunately the house was not vacant this year when we had our vacation. We had to take another house and were completely disappointed. We will definitely come back the next possibility.

Wonderful experience!

  • 5 of 5

We just came from Cambria, and we had a wonderful week. This home is beautiful! You can see the hills and all the way to the ocean. We had everything we needed. The first morning we saw three deer, and one day while walking my dogs, we saw four wild turkeys! We had so much fun. The walks on the Fiscalani Ranch were perfect long hikes for my dogs. The food in town was wonderful. My mom and I stayed for a week and loved every minute. Bring your own toilet paper, (the t.p. in the home is kind of rough and thin). That's the only thing you should bring as the house has everything else that you need - even a crockpot!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house. I'm a cook and kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great dinner. My dogs want to thank you. They felt so pampered! One of our Golden's is handicapped. She took the doggie blanket, and now is expecting one of her own.

Great neighborhood. We've been coming to Cambria for 24 years and this is the best house we've ever stayed in. Owners thought of everything. TY so much!
