My Maison is a renovated barn, it has 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite ). Situated in a small village, St Martial de Nabirat 24250, there are basic shopping amenties and not far from the Dordogne river where you can fishing and kayaking), Sarlat area with it's history and renown markets, The Castles of Castlenaud and Beynac are within a short drive, the Gardens of Marqueyssac perfectly sculptured and sitting gracefully above the river have music nights on a thursday throughout summer, Caves of significant history Lascaux ,and Grotte de Rouffignac and surrounded by villages and From this area you will be able to enjoy all the Dordogne and the Lot has to offer all within an easy drive and enjoy the village life of southern France. There is a beautiful restaurant in the village for fine dining for those special holiday nights and sunday lunches or visit many of the surrounding villages for night markets where you can dine and enjoy the summer nights and a delight of local produce.

Why Margot Barnes chose Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat

I wanted a house that was traditional for the area and renovated and would be easy to look after when I am not there all the time. I also needed a place where my grown family could visit and enjoy holidays together with space for partners and grandchildren. The pool was an added bonus giving a cool reprieve on the warm summer days and much fun for all of us.

What makes this house unique

With two ensuite rooms one upstairs and one downstairs it makes a great place for two families or extended families to be really comfortable in the same house.

Excellent séjour dans une demeure de caractère.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Dordogne.

La maison est située dans un village tranquille et charmant, elle est très bien équipée mais néanmoins chaleureuse et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, et nous avons été très satisfait de l'accueil de nos hôtes.

Les environs sont également magnifiques et regorgent de sites historiques et d'activités de plein air.

Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir et la recommandons chaleureusement.
